My cylinder does not have a record number nor a maker's mark like Edison or Columbia. There is not even a spoken announcement with title, performer and/or maker, inhibiting identification of this cylinder. The visual and acoustical condition is excellent, no mold, chips or audible scratches, clear, but not understandable voices. Reproducing speed is low (~120rpm) as usual for early recordings. Color dark brown, one-spiral core (as opposed to circular or two-spiral), length 4⅛", diameter 2.18". The atmosphere in the recording studio seems relaxed and casual between a female and a male voice, singing a cappella. The record culminates in a long-lasting contagious laughter between the two. The voices sound professional and could well belong to Ada Jones and Bill Murray? After Ada's temporary 10 year retirement in the mid 1890's they performed together first in 1904 as a duet, and could have used brown wax blanks for temporary recordings. Can someone identify the song snippets of this record?
