Ian you are absolutely knocking this project out of the park. i keep thinking about using actual finishing details or design elements from an actual stealth aircraft. if the sky is the limit a actual stealth paint ............if you look closely at a stealth air craft it has all type of unique angle and shapes or couture to elude radar. This car will would be instantly recognizable as stealth.....I am not worthy.......sweet work Ian.

I paint oils. and like you, I start with a blank canvas, no idea where it might take me. deep-woods, seascape,landscape and etc. I do mechanics on the cars. engines I re-manufacture, port and polish, blueprint and balance. And that was just for a daily driver. you can do all this and improve gas mileage. not lookn for work. I am 73, still love getting dirty, but at a much slower pace and mostly sitting. disabled vet. Hello. I'm looking at your work, it's interesting. You disassembled the Porsche and then put back the rear bumper and rear fenders from the Porsche and now it again looks like a Porsche only crookedly! except for the exhaust pipes. What is the point? It would be more interesting to somehow radically change the appearance and shape of the body, but it turns out to be the same Porsche. A lot of hard work has gone into it and the result is close in shape to the Porsche original. What is the point?

@@Ducky69247 Perhaps, but the essence does not change. Visually, after their actions, the appearance is very reminiscent of a Porsche ass). And the task, as I understand it, was to create a new look, not similar to a Porsche, from their red plastic sawn body). The task was to change the appearance of the Porsche donor to something new and unusual). But it turned out to visually get the same Porsche, only slightly modified).

@fynetuneyrgf

Almost like they should have just bought a Carrara GT 😉, they would have had an engine that was actually powerful by todays standards at least. That’s my biggest worry about this build, because of the weight they might add, that also might actually be a reduction in the end. But either way, that’s a Boxer they started with, that isn’t fast even by the standards of the day it was introduced. Ironically they would be better served dropping in a built forged internal Subaru STi EJ257 and turning the boost up to 750-1000 crank hp. As even a OEM stock STi EJ257s 305 crank hp/300 try, which could be tuned up to a reliable 400 hp with the OEM internals and stock turbo. The Boxers NA flat 6 is a nice engine really, but simply doesn’t have the massive aftermarket support the STIs engine has. Making tuning not only easier in the long run, but way better for changing parts out to get the type of performance you need for the particular build. It makes endless possibilities, and the engine will easily fit behind the seat as intended by the chassis designers. Plus you would get a EJ exhaust sound with a 4 foot long exhaust, which would be awesome.
