I'm starting on one like that soon, but is a little older and rustier, just need to clear out space in my garage before I move it over. Yours turned out nice.

Love the complete product . What type of paint did you use for this restoration? I am in the process of getting the same saw with a 3 phase motor. The good thing is i have 2 grizzly motors 5hp and 3 hp that have the same motor mount so the only issue is rotation which can be changed easily.

Its an enamel (Court Grey by Mastercraft). In the past I used acrylic enamel but don't have the facilities presently.

You have a great shop! I love checking out other tradesmans shops such as your.I just finished braking down my delta Unisaw. Looking for paperwork lost all during a move to a new home. I have the model numbers I think it’s circa 1985. I have a 50” biesemeyer fence circa 1985 and would like to paint this to match your paint job. what type of grease should be used to swing motor 0 to 45.your video is very helpful the saw looks great. Except for my motor I would like to take everything down to the smallest part to clean, grease and paint .did you spray this with a cup gun or a regular spraycan that you can get at Home Depot or equal.i purchased paint already but would love to return it and copy your color looks great on my iPad.im in the process of having the cast iron top ground down on a Blanchard machine but I think I would also need to have it flat grinded after because I feel it’s best for safety due to the shine and whirl marks it leaves behind with the Blanchard machine.what type of metal shop could do this if you know?looks like you had a hard time installing the rod that I was just about to break down my fear is I’ll have a very hard time getting things back together after knocking out that 1/4” roll pin. What was the issue or was it just a matter of it takes what it takes with the shaft that raises the blade.thank you for your video it helps many more people than respond I’m sure of it!is there a delta site for manuals break down videos with verbal instruction.i would appreciate any leads you could give me about any anything I wrote about.thank you so much for you time.
