Great Video! Entity Framework does make it easier to set up unit tests. And if your company is not using EF or has a mix, you can still do the Fake & Mock yourself as in the previous videos.

I still dont understand why cant you be at my graduation ceremony because you JUST SAVED ME! Not only that, you have schooled me proper on this topic. I even made some improvements to the code to be specific to my project test requirements for final year. Thank you.

That was cool when you said "be sure to like this", and the Like button lit up. Must be a new KZitem feature listening for that phrase.

Hi Teddy. Following our conversation on the previous video, I downloaded your commit from 4 Apr 2022 (the following one was 20 Apr 2022). I figured with this video being posted on 12 Apr, the 4 Apr commit would be prior to that. However, the 4 Apr code already had the ClubRepositoryTests class and InMemory package was already installed. So working with this as best I can but a bit confused as to which version I should download so it's prior to this video...

I think the problem with this method is that because you are not mocking the database you can not make a method of the dbContext fail. For example if you have a "catch all" exception that triggers if the database is not working then with this method you can not test if your except code catches that exception in a good manner, because you can not trigger the except part of the code(with mocking you can make a method throw an exception, but here we are not using Moq, NSubstitute or FakeItEasy for the DbContext Dependency).

great vid but I have a question. What’s the purpose of that if statement with a for loop where you’re adding 10 entries? I haven’t watched the whole series and I am unfamiliar with the program you have in hand but I am assuming that this step is only applicable to your case?

@@TeddySmithDev in my case, InMemory db pulls what’s already inside the db. Is that not supposed to happen or is this something I can turn on/off
