Exactly what i am looking for. I am working on a horror game, would like to use this effect on objects in the dark. I love this community, hope one day i will be able to have something to share back.

Hi Firnox ! Thank you for this great content. The explanations are very clear and I might start understanding something about Shaders! Are you planning on continuing this serie ? If so, I would love to see what needs to be changed in order to have an opaque result where you see the front edges and the rest of the mesh (faces) are in a different color.

Thanks for your comment! Yes I was planning on finishing off this series by doing the standard rendering of the front faces of the object (with either a UV texture or a flat colour) with the wireframe on top. I'm hoping to get more videos out in October and will try to make this one of them!

looks great! does this work with android AR... for example i wish to somehow show the lines from rhino model. should i still make them as solids and then use your method to make them into lines again?

I've never done anything with AR, but I believe this should work fine on Android. When you create a model you're doing two things: 1) creating a list of vertices and edges, 2) adding materials/textures. For the wireframe effect, you are just adding on a custom material with the wireframe shader, as such when creating your model it doesn't matter what materials you add to it as you're going to replace it. So a solid colour is fine.
