@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy Yes it is part of Spark. I just went to the UA site and brought up the “included” and it’s still there. I took a screen shot of that but I don’t see how to include that here.

Again another good review Bro. David Vignola. Thanks for this video. It shows your good mixing skills. One spelling correction. It is "Capitol" and not "Capital".

Hello Dave, Okay, it's a compressor. ....and ? Great graphics, beyond that, so what ? For 25 bucks, maybe, more than that, no dice. Nice presentation, Bill P.

@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy I never said I don't like it. It's a compressor. That's it. These days it's more like who can emulate the sexier compressor with better graphics. Okay, so Capitol Records made 4 of them, in house. Hitsville (Motown Records) made their own equalizers. EMI made their own consoles, etc. Back in the day (1960s, 70s), I made a lot of my own gear, we all did. Much of what we needed didn't exist or was unaffordable. And by the way, looking at the block diagram of the 5511, it's a feedback compressor, not a feedforward layout. They respond differently. Bill P.

I have been subbed to your channel a long time, big fan of Presonus. Question: been using audiobox usb 8 years and the low Z input no longer working. Tech support was no help. I am looking at the XTUGA E-22 because its cheap and I am on a budget.. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks

I feel exactly the same about UA pricing, there's no way I'm paying over $100 for a compressor plugin, this is way way overpriced, Maybe one day they will realize that other companies make plugins that are just as good but at a fraction of the price. It's like their sales, they are a certain price one month and then the next month they double the price so that the month after that they can have a half price sale, they must think that we are stupid and don't follow the prices from month to month.
