In this Science (Physics) video in Hindi for Class 9 we explained the universal law of gravitation and derived the required formula known as the equation for universal gravitation. This law is also known as Newton's law of universal gravitation. This is a topic from Chaapter 10 - 'Gravitation' for class 9th from NCERT.
Universal law of gravitation states that the gravitational force between two bodies is directly proportional to the product of their masses and is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
Gravitational force, F = GMm/d²
Here, G is the universal gravitational constant and it is equal to 6.674 x 10^(-11) Nm²kg⁻², M is the mass of the first body, m is the mass of the second body and d is the distance between the centres of those two bodies.
