Um, why is half the song in English if this is the Japanese production? Is it because this is a preview?

It's probably done on purpose. The Japanese like including a English into their music.

PokeDaBearz I suppose so. It's interesting to know that. I thought Hindi was the only one who blatantly stole and used English words. :D Btw, is that Jemma Rix as Elphaba?

I have no idea, for I am no expert on Elphabas. Sorry!

Its because Disney/Universal Japan parks tend to have lots of U.S. tourists visiting. They want to make it more inclusive for all viewers. Anyway, Glinda is usually played by someone Japanese, while the role of Elphaba is usually played by someone Australian.

Japanese people like to mix English into their songs and feel that the songs are very good when English is included. Japanese can convey less in a single phrase than English, and very often English songs sound worse when translated. Also, Universal Studios Japan attracts many international guests. Therefore, we use more English. However, a problem arose when too much English was used and Japanese could only roughly understand the story. Therefore, there are screens on both sides of the stage, on which English and Japanese subtitles are projected. This is translated on a translation site

이것은 유니버설 스튜디오 재팬이라고 하는 테마 파크에서 매일 3~5회 행해지고 있던 쇼이기 때문입니다. 약 30분 정도의 쇼였습니다. 추가 요금없이 볼 수있는 쇼이므로 돈도 거기까지 걸릴 수 없습니다. 일본에서는 극단 사계라는 극단이 Wicked를 공연하고 있습니다. 여기에서는 브로드웨이나 다른 나라와 같은 것이 되고 있습니다.
