Raffi Meyer-Wertman hi!! I would recommend East Village Townhouses or West Residence! I think there’s a first year residence in North campus that had an apartment style as well that I would look into! :) hope that helps!

Hi Aleshia, Please, which of the graduate housing units- East village townhouse and West residence- should I go for. Thank you

Hi! I personally lived in East Village most of undergrad. I liked it because it was close to everything on campus, while still being away from all the commotion. West residence is also pretty close to campus, it's good if you have two friends who you are really close with because the houses are bit smaller than East. Hope that helps!

Is that school racist 🤔? Cause I had a few racist kids did a video and never got removed from the school

Hey girl! That's a tough one... As a whole, I would say no it's not a racist school. There's a lot more diversity at the university now than there was back in 2015 when I first moved-in (Thank God lmao). In my 4.5 years at the school, I personally didn't experience any noticeable racism towards me. HOWEVER, I noticed that there's a lot of students who attend Guelph, who come from very small, rural and conservative towns, and I could imagine some of those students bring their ignorant views on POC with them to the school. I also saw the video that you're referring to, it's pretty disturbing. I'm disappointed that the University of Guelph did not remove those students from their school. Hopefully they will make the right choice on that ASAP. Hope that helps, I wanted to give you a real honest answer! :)

Mickaela Aleshia you’re welcome sis , I thought of going there but I’m to far. Well if they don’t remove that student that means that school supports racism because I went to a all white school in high school and I wasn’t treated equal there. But you get racist and ignorant ppl in any school. Anyways thanks 😊 for telling me your experience

I went to Guelph for a campus tour ( Im Italian but very tan sometimes ) and people were nice but I could feel some weird stares from some people and while everyone in my tour were blondie whites and were talking together mostly not me until in the middle of the tour someone asked where I was from and I said Italy, and right after that they got way nicer to me and said they had no idea Im Europian. I don’t think I would go to Guelph honestly it was scary
