Problem is in most gyms youll never be able to set the box at your exact hip height

Incorrect, use plates, use 2.5s, use pilates box, you can figure it out.

Great movement !! I will def use it as a supplement on DL day !! and your absolutely right about pulling the slack out of the bar ,, toooo many guys try to yank the bar off the floor !

I know I do. I do it like I do with box squats. Once you have adjusted the weight accordingly, just sit on box and use your conventional stance and you're good to go. I swear by them.

This is by far the best lower back exercise I have tried. It will help with other lifts and life in general. Only thing I will say is the bar should be under your legs and not in front.
