Potential Theory is just a strange topic, it has it's roots in physics and classical mechanics but has evolved today as an entirely different thing from its origins lol

Well done! 👍👏 Good luck. (the appealing yellow/blue border is a nice bonus :) I happen to like that color combo, lol)

All the best for your talk. 14:55 Could remind people that the integrand is actually the fundamental solution of the Laplacian in 2D. This connects Potential theory to Harmonic functions and complex analysis. 17:00 In plain words: The theorem gives you a way to approx the equilibrium measure by the empirical measure on a large Fekete set. (Like riemann sums approximating the integral)

Well complex analysis is just Harmonic function + i*(some other harmonic function).

Hay man, just want to say that your vids are a huge inspiration to me! These vids are part of the reason I have shifted my degree from Enviro science to math (similar to you I suppose)! Although I am a meesly undergrad lol... Big ups, love the vids, good luck ❤🎉❤

Potential theory is a very overpowered tool. Got in the rabbit hole while reading Jackson and Zangwill for Electrostatics during freshmen year as a physics major.

there's a divide by 0 within the sequence (del n (E) /(n(n-1)) ) n = 1, infinity
