That last pallet looked like it was trying to go. Sometimes I’ll get under the side it’s leaning and run the jack into it to straighten the pallet. It works best for plastic and not wood pallets because wood pallets will always start collapsing when you’re all the way under them. One thing I’ve learned about unloading trucks-don’t ever get in a hurry or let a driver get you in a hurry. That’s when you have one fall usually. Sometimes we’ll even get up under the side with the leaning pallet with one fork of the jack and raise it all the way up and try to push it back straight. It doesn’t work all the time but it’s saved a few here and there. You can also squeeze the pallets against each other kinda wiggle them into each other and the trailer wall to straighten them out to just be careful you don’t knock anything already loose. I’ve been doing g grocery night crew for six years now and it definitely ain’t as fun as it used to be and doesn’t pay like I wish it did but it’s what I know and I enjoy the work so I’m going to stay in it

@@gamingwithzakk2965 Good to hear. If you continue to do it and enjoy it and you ever have opportunity to be the lead/head night clerk and be over a crew and you want to do it, I say definitely go for it. It will be a life changing experience for you. I stepped down from it a few months ago because I got tired of the pressure but I’m glad I did the job and stuck it out as long as I did. Being a lead forced me out of my comfort zone which was really good for me it’s just in the end the pressure built up and eventually I decided the stress and mental health toll wasn’t for me. I’m glad I got the experience though and I no longer see it as an “I lost” or “I failed” type experience. I worked so hard with a strong work ethic thinking it would rub off on the rest of the crew and it unfortunately never did. Many times people are so stuck in their ways that the only thing that will force them out of their ways will be tribulation or adverse life events which can actually be a good thing (ie repentance or a changing of how one thinks).
