In last example you give of letting hands walk away from body. How do we avoid putting too much weight forward, keeping weight back and then powering forward

Focus on keeping your head between your feet. If you do, your weight will always be nice and balanced. The only way you'll get too much weight forward is if your head goes to the front side.

Hey Coach Justin I have a question. A couple of little leaguers are always complaining about how their hands hurt whenever they hit the ball while batting. Is this caused by improperly holding the bat? Or a mechanical defect the way they swing?
