They're is a cheaper alternative called overlapper if you're just looking for one tool.

As far as I know, Blender doesn't have an equivalent plug-in.

There’s wiggle bones which *kinda* work but isn’t a 1:1 comparison whatsoever. You could also make a line w/ verts (vertex group for each vert as well) on every joint, run a cloth sim on that, then use a damped track constraint to have the bones aim to their corresponding vertex group. And bc its a cloth sim you can tweak the physics all you want! But it’s a tedious, irksome process and it’ll take a lot of time to get right. Still faster than hand animating once you get it down but yeah nothin comes really close to this sadly D:

Could use a spline IK if Blender has that? Not exactly automatic but it's better than doing it one joint at a time.

There's a standalone animation tool called cascadeur with a free version that can do some of this
