No crossover in the main planar drivers On the GT Audioworks. Any cross over will introduce phase shifts, distortion time delay. The drivers use 2 ultra thin diaphragms that seal the copper traces from oxidation dust and humidity. Hundreds of hours to make the divers made by Greg Takesh. The drivers are mechanically tuned for a perfect frequency response without passive cross over components. Designed to integrate with the open baffle woofers with DSP. DSP only for the woofers. Over 130 feet of neodymium magnets.

These speakers were amongst my favourites at Munich High End but they are extremely expensive ( unless one does earn millions each month as you say). The lack of any boxiness was very alluring I must say.

Love it. I far prefer open baffle to box. This is very good. The piano in the second track sounded so natural. Too many people claim you can't tell anything from a YT video. This debunks that idea.

All Alsyvox speakers use full and only ribbons for the bass, midrange/tweeter and super tweeter.

@@RhapsodyAudio I guess the question is what do you mean by "ribbon"? It's such an overused word by audiophiles. Are all sides of the diaphragm physically pinned down, or are two (or more) sides allowed to move freely?

The problem is most people haven't heard linesource ribbons with neodymium magnets. So when they hear them they think it's magic. I made a pair of paper damped mid/tweeter ribbons on my dinning table . Its not rocket science.
