SPEAKER: DR. SUSAN GAYLARD
Susan Gaylard is an Associate Professor of Italian Studies and adjunct faculty in Art History at the University of Washington, Seattle. She studied at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa before completing her Ph.D. at the University of California at Berkeley. Her work has been supported by fellowships in the US and Europe. Her teaching and research focus on the intersection of literature with material culture, from medieval tales to contemporary fashion.
