bongos isn’t disliked becuz its a hoe song, it’s just not a good record sonically it’s important to make that clear. In hollywood they became top heavy with diversity but (imo) spitefully marred that progress with dumpster fire writing, plot & production. whatever you’re working on make sure that its good, name alone won’t get it done

I do also agree that, many women do try to give the benefit of the doubt for "potential," or "what if," to men they know, that are not the best candidates to procreate with. Or will overlook red flags, too when it comes to the type of men that she mentioned. And when it comes to the type of men that she is talking about, yes I do agree with her on that take or that aspect because it is quite apparent and visible, solely based on how they present themselves from the get-go. And the red flags are probably shown early on out, so it is easier to notice..when they present themselves as who they are from the get go. And when it comes to that, yes it is good to acknowledge that lots of women do also unfortunately do this. However, I'm kind of at a 50/50 on what she said, (Because she also kind of dismissed the other side of the coin and what actually does happen quite often too..and this is because she only addressed one facet of a multifaceted issue) because I've read, heard and seen way too many stories, as well as videos upon videos that address this. Channels like Shar Henley, BurbnBougie, etcetera. And lots of women, thought they "chose a good man," where they married or had a child with a man..a man who presented themselves as a nice guy/good guy. Only for the woman to later find out how he truly is as a person and when she gets married or has a kid with that man. That is when they tend to "switch up," to a different version of "themselves. And the reason why I believe it happens to a good amount of women, too is because most people that are narcissistic are men. (Yes, women are and can also be narcissists, but by comparison, men are in the higher percentile.) The psyche behind why it happens, is when they feel like you are in a way somehow "stuck," usually this is assumed when a woman gets pregnant or has a baby. They assume it is harder for women to leave when in those situations, hence also the high dv cases that happen to women. So to dismiss the other side of the coin, based on the one aspect that she has seen, is not necessarily conducive..either. It is easier to dweeb out the walking red flags when they are walking red flags, so in that aspect yes I agree, lots of women have to stop giving the benefit of the doubt to these types of men. But when it is narcissistic men, who present themselves as one way, and then later completely "switch up," (even though, they're just showing their true colors) well when that happens, it is a bit more complex. I think when that does happen though, is best to just start inner self healing, and cut contact with that kind of person. (guy)

1) in my opinion, Cardi should just stfu about the album until she KNOWS it’s ready. Since 2019, she has stated “I have no choice to drop it” literally every year 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Still no progress. She still claiming she doesn’t like anything and clearly the problem is her. It’s been almost 6 years and you haven’t given your fans ANYTHING NEW! If there is no new one coming, just stop lying to your fans. 2) I agree with the whole thing about Chrisean. Blueface is diabolical, but Chrisean is not far behind him. It’s time to treat her like an adult.

I think Chrisean and her man both might need therapy, i know I might not pay attention to them a lot but if a true couple has chemistry their only gonna do a certain amount of arguing, I don’t understand if you know your not compatible with them then why would you go as far to having a child w/ them without healing generational trauma first? Good looks and a pretty face can only go sooo far, no matter how cool or hot/attractive you consider that person, if you don’t have ZERO chemistry and only use them for their body then there’s no choice but to not be w/ that person..Ofc we all make mistakes but I think it’s better to really get to know that person before you consider having romantic relations and decide what you can/can’t tolerate from them. Bless them ❤️

Im sorry, my true unpopular opinion is the coco jones isnt the vocal powerhouse you want her to be and thats fine. She’s beautiful, she’s popular, she’s funny, all that but she is very average in terms of singing and acting. I dont think its a surprise that it took her this long to make it mainstream because i just dont feel like her music fully speaks for itself. Her brand does, maybe not so much her art FOR ME.

I think she can sang, I think she just paces herself with the hit big notes or built it up she just throws her vocals head on! Which isnt bad but I feel like performance won't let me fall in love with it. I think like you said her brand is 100% a beautiful talented black woman. But her legendary status will come when she has a full rollout for album. What are your thoughts on Victoria Monet?
