Oh no!!! Same here- I ordered like 18 boxes (because they are never in my store) and it was so frustrating to have to toss aside so many per box!! It's like they didn't even TRY to make them uniform😣 I'm so happy you like the videos!!! Thank you so much for watching!!!❤

Blown away! I have noticed the sizing difference in the blocks. Make me crazy. I stain before I glue. If I don' t then decide to stain later I sand the blocks where glue seeped through. Seems to help.
@MedicatedHousewifeDIYs

I almost always stain all the blocks before I glue them- but this time it just didn't work out that way, and I was definitely not happy with the look!!! Next time I'm going back to pre-staining!! Those boxes of blocks I ordered online have been so disappointing- its like every 3rd block is too big - super frustrating!!! Thank you for watching!!!❤

Hi. Beaitiful and creative pieces. Thanks for sharing. How did your dry the block after removing from the bowl stained? Thanks
@MedicatedHousewifeDIYs
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!! Usually, when I remove the blocks from a coffee stain in a bowl, I will place them on a paper towel and let them dry for 24 hrs-hope that answers your question. 😀❤️

I will now attempt to make this platter. I have made the bowl & the basket, both turned out soooo very very cool! Thank you for your wuuunderful tutorial. But on this platter, at what point do you take out the cubes & resting blocks? And were they easy enough to remove?
@MedicatedHousewifeDIYs
2 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you're doing all these projects!!!! The cubes at the beginning are only for the initial row- to make the spaces uniform- the other resting cubes should just stay there until your glue sets- you could probably remove them safely after about an hour or so- they are just there to support the weight of the blocks that don't have blocks underneath them....hope that helps!!!! ❤❤❤
