As a fellow Slav Serbian I am enjoying Bulgaria in your videos as it was my own country :). I've been couple of times to Bulgaria (one of my best friends is a Bulgarian) and there are so many similarities that I feel right at home in Bulgaria :). I have one suggestion for you my Bulgarian sister. To make your videos even more authentic you can use old/traditional Bulgarian music in the background, because it is one of the richest folklore music on the Balkans. Don't get me wrong Im not talking about chalga, but authentic Bulgarian traditional music. Keep up the good work keep the tradition alive. големи поздрави от Андрей

i as a native American Indian... Sioux Actually.... we call them fried bread. and we put 1/4 cut onions, 1/4 cut tomato's, sliced black olives, shredded lettuce, burger meat, mostly beef.. but we have made some out of shredded chicken , shredded cheese, sour cream salt, pepper and we call them Indian tacos. Been eating them for years and years ever since i was tiny and now i am in my 60's. Went to Russia one year far up in Siberia with the Sami Natives. Saw one of the elder women making smaller ones and i asked if i could make some? they were puzzled. so i made bigger ones... like what your showing in your video... then i talked the men into getting some meat.... the children in rounding up vegetables.. the only thing we were missing was spices and taco sauce.. but they loved them. In Ukraine, in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, even as far south as Australia, new Zealand.... i have eaten fried bread.. different names but the same thing.. awesome how the world all makes the same thing.. thank you for sharing!! awesome.

What exactly does "food from the farm" mean in terms of whether they use pesticides etc. I get that there seems to be very little government control, but is it simply a case of picking it from your garden and selling it in the market, or have they used insecticides etc?
@sistersofbulgaria9396
Ай бұрын
“Simply a case of picking it from your garden and selling it in the market” - Exactly. Technically there is control but we all know that realistically people just sell what they have from their gardens. Some larger stands may import some vegetables from Greece etc when they are out of season in Bulgaria but most are just people selling their goods.
