Even if the teen's death was a "hit and run" isn't that still murder....odd the police kept saying it was a hit and run and not murder. WTH.

Chris Bridges Well it would be manslaughter since there is no intent, and intent to kill is required for most murders except felony murder. Even if the running part is kind of nasty.

Unresolved. In 1996, a new witness came forward claiming to have heard one of the people whom Aaron and Russell had gotten into an argument with at the park confess to killing Russell and running him over with a car. However, despite the new witness coming forward, the police continue to insist it was a hit-and-run. No one has been charged. Sadly, both of Russell's parents are now deceased. His father died in 1998, and his mother passed away in 2011.

What Brad Bishop did reminds me so much of what John List did to his family (1971)... killed his 3 children, Wife & Mother. He disappeared for many years before finally arrested in 1989. He was given a life sentence with no parole and died in 2008. Wish this is the outcome and fate for Bishop, but he seems more elusive and cunning compared to List.

I don’t think he saw him either. The guy probably ran because he was mentally unstable.
