I always keep Lentils & Rice as meals whenever all else fails, can be cooked in same pot at same time. Single serving Lentils & Rice: Presoak 1/4 cup Lentils for 2 hours. Put 1/4 cup Long Grain Rice in pot + drained Lentils + 1 cup water + salt/seasonings + anything extra u have (ham pieces, chopped onion, tomato paste). Boil 10 minutes, turn heat on low for 20 minutes. By presoaking Lentils, they take the same time to cook in the same pot as the rice. Quickie Hoe Cakes: 2 parts cornmeal + 1 part self rising flour + salt + water to create thick batter, cook like pancakes. The gluten in the flour is the binder for the cornmeal so no eggs are needed.

The vehicle was developed by a team of students at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. The car is suited with a carbon capture device on its underbelly, and the body of the car itself isn’t made of materials typically seen on cars -- but is instead made using recycled plastics formed by a 3D printer.

That looked pretty good, immaculate presentation. Presumably back when the great interior reset was taking place! Usually find that if there are herbs, carbs and some kind of sauce then can usually rustle up something. SIld or herring, sprinkle flour, fry in oilive oil, spread red pesto (with chilli flakes) on then whatever veggies (pepper, onion, garlic, mushrooms, etc) fried in a liitle oil and dumped (technical term) on top.

Do you have one of those tiny little barbecues ? The ones usually shiny metal just a little thicker than a tin can that you can put out on the deck or even over the ocean a little on the back ? I use small sticks, lots of them, till I have coals (drift wood possibly would work) . I recommend them. They make fish, meat, and breakfast taste very different, tasty ! Another sailor built a little cooker that would cook fish or sausages, and it has two very curved mirrors which cook things which are placed inside tubes. The reflection is set up so that it reflects directly with the mirrors. They worked very well. I'm building one of the box ovens. it has three to four reflector "doors" which are folded on the top when not in use. You get "Mylar" in a little package and glue it to cardboard or some stiffer board for the doors. I can't remember for sure but I think you use a black material, metal with stove paint on it which you leave exposed to the sun so it looses its paint smell ? Something like that for the inside of the oven, and a piece of glass over the oven. Can get hot enough to bake bread or whatever. I'm working on these now because if your going to be far from civilization your going to run out of propane.

Thank you! My simpliest dish is called "Sukharnica". For one cup you need one handful of sukhar (dried bread cubes), half cup of boiling whater, 3-5 minutes of time. But sukhar seems to be not good product to store at sailboat while in dry place sukhar can be stored for 1-2 years.
