High schools across Consolidated District 230 in southwest Chicago will sound, look, and feel different this school year. That’s because the district’s three schools - Andrew High School, Stagg High, and Sandburg High School - upgraded the audio and visual equipment inside its gyms and stadiums.
The district enlisted Lockport’s Low Voltage Solutions to carry out the upgrades. Union electricians replaced the school’s outdated systems with state-of-the-art equipment. Inside the gyms, new speakers, subwoofers, and projectors were installed. Stadiums outside added advanced amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, and wireless mics.
The result is a more immersive experience for assemblies, graduation ceremonies, and sporting events. An experience that will sound through the schools for decades to come. This episode takes you inside the school’s audio and visual transformation.
