What an interesting project! Your Irish Contemporary Knits book was the first knitting book I purchased when I returned to knitting. Your enthusiastic support of Irish wool is contagious. I’m excited to see the details when it’s released for sale.

This is lovely. I have a Galway Wether as a pet which I keep for the fleece. I use it to cover my soaps & I also add the fibre in my soaps too. They are a beautiful breed with a gorgeous fleece.

It is exciting to see this project! I looked it up and it seems that all the wool was bought by Donegal Yarns and there are no UK stockists!? Is this correct?

The next clip will available shortly so I’d suggest contacting the Galway wool coop directly to see what’s available.

@@CarolFeller thanks for your prompt reply Carol. I dont think the coop makes yarn!? Im after yarn to knit a sweater as i am fascinated by exploring single breeds and love rustic yarns! If you have any left over from your blanket club, let me know

So fantastic! The last 3 garments I’ve knitted have used Galway breed wool (washed with a lanolin containing no-rinse wash, plus I’m fine with rustic wool against my skin,) and love the breed & what Blatnaid has been doing. I’m excited for the blanket plan, and the important charity element. Well done!!

Hello Carol, and thank you for this interesting video! Would it be alright to contact you by the end of the week-end about a project I have and in which this COOP could feature too? Sorry, I haven't been able to follow your channel or any other for several months, but the hospital my father was visiting for a routine check made such a blunder, it left him with only a few months (even if they had expected it to only be days) to live and I spent each and every day and night of it by his side. Currently trying to find the funds to save his home and garden from being sold off by my sister-in-law to a greedy builder replacing all gardens by concrete tiny houses built on top of one another although there are so many empty houses of all sizes waiting to be sold all over town. He doesn't seem to like any green space in town! But I'll try to find a few minutes before the end of the weekend to contact you, if that is ok with you, about a collaboration, so that we can have ample enough time to organize ourselves for it, if interested. Have a great Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow !

@@CarolFeller 😎 Where can I hide myself? Oooooh well, at least in spite of being so tired, I am not too let for my Greetings! I've been spending all month setting up March meetings, I thought we were already in March. So a month in advance then, Happy Saint Patrick's Day again !
