In this video, we introduce the structure of the Universe, including a tour of Markarian's Chain of Galaxies, captured in February 2024 from the AstroDNA Observatory in Warwick, NY, using the Astro Tech 115EDT telescope and the ASI2600MM Pro camera. We'll explore the hierarchy of the universe including cosmic filaments, galactic complexes, superclusters, clusters and groupings. We’ll delve into the specifics of Markarian's Chain, a group of gravitationally bound galaxies in the Virgo cluster, and highlight the diverse types of galaxies found within it, including notable Messier Objects.
