When watching the videos of the desert patterns, when the three of you wore the different patterns at the same time it gave a great comparison. It was good to see how the different patterns compared in the same scenario at the same time. Was great. Please do more like that.

Badlands camo is not cheap but it's effective in NV, UT, ID. Definitely good in our states because it was designed here for the desert, but they have some for other terrains here as well. Be warned to the viewers, it's high end stuff and there's some sticker shock. Serious bow hunters can also find badlands at cabelas. Please consider reviewing the Sitka if you're so inclined.

OMG dude. I was looking for a real picture or video everywhere on the internet to finally convince myself to buy this particular backpack, the Helikon Tex Raider in Pencott Badlands camo. I don't know how I skipped this video of yours. Anyway, I've ordered it 2 4 days ago and on Tuesday it is supposed to be delivered. Can't tell you how much I am excited for it tot arrive. I am not new to camo clothing but I am new to Pencott Camo. I saw that they also have the Greenzone and Woodland versions for this backpack, but I thought I would go better with this one since I will also use it in urban enviorments. Thanks for your review! Hey Brent! When you get the money, can you buy US4CES gear from UR-TACTICAL and test it? From what I've read, US4CES is the best camouflage pattern for clothing that isn't classified, but for some reason, Guy Cramer at Hyperstealth wouldn't put it out there like Crye did with MultiCam, and UR-TACTICAL is only maker/seller that still has US4CES gear available. I wish more manufacturers offered US4CES. Thanks.

I've been looking at ur tactical for awhile now. Yes it's used primarily (if not exclusively) by airsoft people but I'm pretty sure that's how condor started out too. Apparently all the Ur Tactical/Ops stuff is using US material and is manufactured in Hong Kong which apparently is better than just being "Made in China"; quality control differences I imagine. Idk. I'd like to see Brent get some stuff from them and test it out because so far all I've heard is nothing but positive but it's all been from airsoft dudes.

I have a question. Why are the military gerlach knives (e.g. osa or wz 98 versions) on the english websites so much more expensive than on the polish ones? Hard to order them when you don`t speak the language even if you are only one country away.

Now i got some glocks instead of them. They look great and i have seen a few tests but it is hard to find any info about them in english at all. I have even seen them sold on ebay as "custom polish SF knives" for big money. From the look of it the gerlach ones seem to be easily deployable one handed. The glocks unfortunately not so much. Especially if you have to go quick. I also dunno about their rust resistance and if they rattle. Maybe i come back to the offer an other time. Any way thanks.
@mkw2555

Mr D I have one wz98 since early 2000. It does not rattle, easy to deploy one handed but it rust very easily. I prefer AKM bayonets anyway. Better price but not suitable for throwing of course.

I got issued a AK Bajonet as a "Combat knife" when i was in the military. Have to say i was not that impressed. Biggest pro was that you could put in on the G36 if you really needed it. It was also not that quiet when drawn. I don`t throw knives the big knives have mainly two purposes: Cut stuff ( food not wood) when small knives e.g. swiss army knives are too small for or stuff which would dirty the mechanics of sak (food again) or if SHTF and you need a blade. Luckily hadn`t have to use one yet but had one accecable when i guarded a turnpike by myself with a rifle + gear but without ammo. I also thought about getting a Fairbarn sykes with belt leather sheath from the uk because you can get to it fast and quiet and carry it concealed.

i remember when helikon started of.. they were a cheaper alternative for gear like condor or propper back in poland, but recently, id say from 2014/15 they steped up a level where the uality is comperable in general. some things done better, some things done a bit worser than others, but the prices went instantly to the "right level" you can treat helikon as a cheaper alternative anymore

Quick recap. Some badass pattern. Texas. US Marines. Ass pockets. Texas. US Marines. Some backpack with elastic... something. Texas. Helikon-Tex stuff is well worth the money... I don't have much from them, but I do have the Patriot fleece jacket which doesn't boil you alive and has many, many pockets. But the fleece is really well made, well worth the money. Comparing it to the Condor Sierra, which it's kinda similar too, but I think the Sierra is a bit more expensive... I'd take the Patriot. I got the SFU Next (allegedly Polish special forces type) trousers in polycotton ripstop fabric and those are pretty, pretty good too... they do need some breaking in, because they kind of sound like a ski suit, but that's no real problem. Very functional and well-made pants. I got a T-shirt... best T-shirt in town, haha. I got their BDU classic pants... use those mainly for hiking. Nothing special, except that they're kinda large. You'll notice with their trousers that have cargo pockets, that special attention is paid to those. They're really thought out.

They’re not very flexible with sizes. For sure thanks for the quick reply. Thinking of going with camogrom from helikon since highlander is around 2 times the cost and so is pencott badlands. I live in rural Colorado with lots of plains yellow with very little green. Though I want something that's decent up in the mountains too where it is more lush and green. Looks like eventually I'll have to get a set for every occasion 1 for arid rural, 1 for urban or darkness, 1 for woodland and 1 for snow. Probably will go camogrom, atacs au, highlander, or badlands for arid rural, I have kryptek typhon for urban or darkness, probably mandrake or pencott greenzone for woodland, and not sure which will work best for snow the kryptek yeti or atacs atx. What sets do you maybe recommend or what do you personally use while describing your terrain or area of use? Again thanks again for the timely reply!
