Everytime you set the hook I hold my breath that you and that seat don't end up in the water. You sure punish that poor seat. 😂 Love your channel.

I love fishing the lizard too, they are always in my box of tricks..lol..I don't fish the chatterbait much either, but when I do I always get good results, and a very aggressive bite. Great fishing Dane!!

They work great during the pre spawn/spawn time. You have more Largemouth fishing down there, so I would think the chatter bait would work good in your area. I think the deep clear water up here is more suited to other baits.

@@FCPFishing Mainly all I catch is Largemouths around here unless I'm back at the river or a river creek, then I get a couple of more species. I would still fish a spinnerbait over a chatter most days. Side by side the spinner still catches more fish around here, but a worm or lizard out fishes them allllll...lol

You might find that a Chatterbait is particularly effective in stained water, especially a darker colored one.

Fished Hartwell yesterday & whacked em on secondary points with a baby brush hog, another great t-rig bait. My buddy was in the front throwing green pumpkin & I was throwing a loud/bright color in the back & outfished him 3 to 1, sometimes color does matter

Can’t beat a zoom lizard in the spring. I usually throw a June bug but bought a pack called moccasin last time. It’s kind of a pumpkinseed color with big blue flecks in it. It worked good on Hartwell last week. Now if these storms would just get out of here lol

I use Bait Fuel on my bass jigs. I use a scent on the worms I pour too. It can make a difference, but it needs to be the right scent.

Another good one Dana. What do you think about throwing a topwater around the bank and secondary points this coming week? Water temp will be well above 60 on the lake. I'll have a lizard tied on as well, of course.

@@FCPFishing OK, thanks. Getting out soon and will get the E pop ready for later this month. I use a small sharpening stone to get better hook penetration. I see that you nearly always pass up tossing a lure into the dock spaces....seems to be a good location when there's shade there.

@@jamesf1525 I am not that fond of fishing docks. I will if I have to, but usually everyone fishes the docks, so I concentrate on the areas between the docks and catch fish that everyone else passes up. There are definitely fish under the docks, I just would rather fish elsewhere. Later in the summer I will actually concentrate on docks and catch lots of Largemouth's. Stay tuned for that.

I'm convinced there aren't any fish in lake Lanier. It's overfished and a dead lake. Every now and then i'll get lucky for one or two in 5 hours. Shaky heads, swim baits, teas rigged bandito bugs, jerk baits, even with live scope I can't catch shit there.
@FCPFishing
6 ай бұрын
My channel proves that theory wrong. It can be a tough lake, but it’s an outstanding fishery. There are more big Spotted Bass in Lanier than any other lake in the world. Not to mention the great Striper fishing. I catch plenty every time I go, without fail, without any fancy live scope. You have to change the way you fish, which isn’t easy.
