Button-up shirts are timeless and versatile, and almost everyone has one, making them perfect for upcycling. In this video, we’ll show you how to upcycle an old button-up shirt into a new two-piece set in just 8 simple steps.
Inspired by one of our original creations at Yvonne and Mitchel, this beginner-friendly upcycle design can be done with or without sewing. We’ve outlined the steps for both options, so you can choose what works best for you!
This is the perfect upcycling project to refresh your wardrobe just in time for the warmer weather. Instead of shopping for something new right away, check your closet (or a friend’s) for an old button-up shirt and follow this tutorial to give it a new life!
