I think you need to promise trains. They are an essential item to a good factory game. I understand there are complications and learning curves to get them in the game, but they should most definitely be on the official items to include on the roadmap. I would consider them a necessity for a good factory game. Excellent job on the updates and changes though. I am very glad you guys are focused on the right things and improving the game in the right direction. Thank you for all the hard work you do. You deserve the success you get.

Data Network needs transmitters so that remote bases can send data and maybe even an object like a tablet pc that can show you a selection of values that are being broadcasted.

absolutely love the decor updates. main thing i've been enjoying is making buildings to house my machines along the lines of gt:nh builders styles, solid flat colour blocks would be a plus at some point but until then I'll mod them in.

For people who wants to be Creative but use Power Cables could that be a Option for Buildings i want a Cave that uses Power Cables with a Small Light where the Wire is at the tip of the Light to give it that Realism Aspect to it or could we have it so the wire can be on the side of the Foundation without having to dig underground to seamlessly hide all of the Foundations you added like you go from Power Producer of some kind by using a Pole which is a Great Segway to Power to Poles to Factories or Power to Poles to Cave

About infinite resources, I hear you about affecting fracking latter on in the game. And agree with that. But olimite (ironically) you can’t frack. What about letting that go to infinite or add it to the fracking ability?

I purchased foundry and bounced really hard off of the tutorial. understanding the material wasnt the problem, it was the hand holdy nature of the tutorial. is there any plans to remake the tutorial in a way that respects your audience and doesnt feel like a mobile game?

You can just skip it now…. They Put bb in your inventory and can ignore it. Carl will still say things at times and you will get bb has a quest for you messages, but you can completely ignore them.

@@ForsakenFenix Yeah tutorial isn't for everyone, but we figured we needed a pretty strong one because the visuals also attract new factory players. Made is optional as a result.

I have Satisfactory too, and I love that game. There are several unique mechanics in this game, but right off the top of my head - it's a voxel world, you can change the terrain, the maps are procedurally generated. The story/questing in this game are better done even at this early stage. Give it a try!

Satisfactory clone is Eden Crafters ... closest thing to this is Create mod for minecraft... or a 3D factorio with multiplayer

At first there was minecraft - which ended up being a first person survival game that can evolve into a proto factory game, then came Factorio which was like a 2D top-down minecraft that focused only on factory game build up and optimization. Then Satisfactory came and focused on being a 1st person Factorio, but sacrifized some things like the Minecraft inspired grid based game and also aspects of the Minecraft inspired procedural generation. Then came Dyson Sphere Program that went back to the top down, grid based and full procedural spirit of Minecraft, but now with a height axis also. Now comes Foundry that is a grid based first person factory game that's basically most similar in system design to Minecraft, Factorio and Dyson Sphere Program - and least to Satisfactory. At least that's how it's feeling to me. I prefer the minecrafty grid feel compared to the non-grid Satisfactory feel.

@@ntnimaI believe Satisfactory was originally inspired, at least in part, by the old Technic mod in Minecraft, as it was super technical (hence the name) and indepth factory building.
