Thank you beautiful soul for keeping us informed. I turned 70 this year and I have wanted to give up so many times. You are such an inspiration. I will be 81 when my youngest Grandson graduates from high school. He was telling me how old his sister will be when he graduates. I made the mistake of mumbling if I will even be around for that. His response was to tell me how old I’ll be and he expects me to live to 90! So I am paying for acupuncture... it helps me have a better quality of life. I quit taking hormone therapy years ago as I didn’t like the side effects i use a personal fan for my personal summer moments as the cancer drugs definitely affect hormones. I used hair pretties (clips) to get through the crazy wild mess it was and now I can have ringlets 😍. Keep inspiring us. much love 💕 and thanks for helping us with your honest talks 😇

How amazing to see you looking so well Dee. You are a breath of fresh air,love and blessings to you and your family. Keep strong and well. Dont worry about the weight it will balance out and as my dad used to say better to say there you are than where are you. I have been watching and following the story of a wonderful and beautiful little angel called Juliana Carver check it out. She has given me so much strength and inspiration and went through 8 bouts of cancer unfortunately she lost the battle, but boy did she teach me so much and never once did she complain. I know what you mean about the treatment but the alternative is not to be here and you are loved by so many. Fight fight and fight.

@maggieg5719
Жыл бұрын
👋 I did, and still notice soreness every once in a while. I finished up radiation in November 2022. I had radiation on my left breast, and my left armpit. They nuked the armpit pretty good! My skin color almost looked black. Now it’s almost the normal skin color. I had 17 treatments. If I would have had to go in one more day, someone would have had to drag me in! I was so tired and weak! When I took my shower the last day of treatment, all I did was shampoo my hair, and I had to take a long break. My arms felt like they were going to fall off!

If it wasn’t for Keto I wouldn’t have found the lump in my breast. That lump got lost in my large breast and it;s only when I lost some weight did I feel it! People kept complimenting me on how good I was looking., smile, and I had known I had cancer. The most complimentary person was an oncologist that I played tennis with! She ended up being a wonderful support. When I told people I had cancer I had to add that I was on Keto and the weight loss wasn’t about cancer. I was lucky to have an Oncotype score of 9, so no chemo. I had a therapist who said to live a day at a time and because others got certain symptoms it didn’t mean I would. She was right, I am okay with the amotase inhibitor. My oncologist friend said that there are mAny types and if one didn’t work for me another would. If you are concerned about sun damage, ipl is super for getting rid of it without downtime! I use the ordinary too.
