You shouldn’t sell yourself short on the value you’ve provided in this video. This was exactly what I needed in my last project.

Thank you. I have just updated the title. I knew it was coming as the BB team saw this video engaged in conversation about. I appreciate this comment.

Cheer Colin. Apparently, this prompted Justin Busa to come up with their own shortcode for ACF repeater fields so soon this may be out of date.

Brilliant. Again. Thank you so much for making this video, it de-mystifies the repeater field use.

Oh that's great. I was familiar with the concept from WP Types Toolset, but never had use for it until now. Just relieved I have not made it more confusing to be honest.

Thank you David, I really need to dig deeper into ACF. This is a really good introduction to what’s possible. As always super useful and see, more than 5 views already ;-)

Very nice David, have used that plugin indeed myself in combination with the ACF repeater field. Anyhow, I avoid using repeater fields as much as possible and use relations to achieve a much more flexibel solution.

Hey Peter I must ask you to explain this sometime to me. Funny after doing this video I did a google search and found your article comparing Pods and ACF.

Thanks Colin. That's great. Apparently the BB team will be adding their own shortcode for this in Themer so eventually the need for this plugin will go. One to look out for.

Thanks for this video David. I'm wondering if you have a video or how-to guide on building the image gallery with the products in this example? I assume you've used ACF (Pro?) - Beaver Themer but not sure how you're displaying it as a gallery with the small product images next to the big one. I have Power Pack so could I use their Image Carousel together with ACF and Themer? Would appreciate any tips without having to use WooCommerce plugin.

Thanks for doing this video. I have a potential job coming up where this is going to be just perfect. A catalogue site with products that need variable icons. So you're timing is perfect! Love your videos, always learn something useful. Many thanks

Hi David thank you very much for this tutorial! I have followed it to the letter and have even copied and used your code on the linked page, It all works great apart from the CSS for some reason its not aligning the icons horizontally. Its frustrating me now Ive tried all sorts. Ive noticed that your CSS references .feature-icons class but no such class has been specified it the [ rerpearter ] block. Any help much appreciated.

Hey David! I think this is what I'm looking for. Do you know a way to use this repeater field w/ themer to make a downloadable resource list? For example, the first box where you have the icon would be the Document name and the second box where you have the changeable text would be the URL to the doc. And when people click on the icon you add it would download the document? Any ideas?

I'm not 100% sure I know what you mean, but I think you want the text in 2nd field to to become downloadable. I am not sure how that could be done or in what form?

comparing ACF to PODS ( do they both work seamlessly and the same with themer or is one better integrated than the other -) I understand the BB team integrated acf and that pods has a integration plugin but wondering why you use one over the other ( aside from repeater field ) .... My limited understanding is pods allows for relationships as it actually creates posts and allows you to manage them while acf simply extends posts already made - types is introducing relationships now and so while I'm rambling i guess my question is from a Themer integration perspective - would you say the ease of selecting field to insert into page builder is identical for acf and pods and that the main difference is their own limitations and dependant on your usecase requirements or do you think acf is easier and better integrated with themer.... cold medicine is my excuse for being unfocused here - lol

I am still learning and assessing myself Nathan. You can use them both together too. Pods for creating the CPT and for relational fields and ACF for those nice fields for clients. But I have yet to fully explore this. ACF was used here as it was used in another project for the same client. The BB team will have their own shortcode for repeater field coming to the next release of Themer. It's good as this video helped, but I will have to retire this video.
