Fun fact about the bromelia in month 7: I used to have one in my gecko terrarium because of the holding of water. It was their water bowl since they only drink from plants

1st of all that green velvet chair is all that, it's GORGEOUS, and it was very nice of your husband to get you the subscription. Hirts choices could have been better. I know for the monthly fee you can't expect anything uncommon but there are a lot of beautiful common plants. I never thought about unbraiding my money tree(it is unnatural)so I did it and I love it!!!

Thank you for your time and effort, I really enjoy each one of your videos. I adore your passion for common houseplants. Even if I have been suck a little bit into uncommon plant train most of my collection is simple common houseplants, because they are so easy, rewarding and also so beautiful, so it's really fun to follow your collection. Oh and thanks for the extra information about most of the plants, really fun to learn something a bit new. 🙃

Well i’m sad that this is over now but it’s nice to see them all together. But you’re right those plants were much cheaper than what you should’ve gotten. So not worth it in my opinion but still was fun to watch to see what you got.

I recently downgraded all of my plants into pots that are actually appropriate for their size. I was a noob and thought that of it was in a bigger pot it would grown faster! Now after watching some of your videos I downgraded them all and they look a lot happier so thank you!

Been weaving around through your videos and wanted to drop a thank-you for posting. I appreciate that you always seem to be so honest; you seem like a great person and you drop a ton of useful knowledge, and you've made me feel a lot more comfortable with my plant care effort. I've found it super useful that you share what you are and aren't concerned about, and to listen to you think through the problem-solving for your plants.

I've been looking forward to this one! That red pot for the anthurium really helps make it pop 🌺 I'm impressed with how well you did with these, given that none were "wish list" plants. I'm a a sucker for chartreuse, and that dracaena is calling to me--I agree that dracaena are great for their jungle vibe and easy care needs.

Happy 1 year birthday! I love your videos and especially these unboxings. Some of my favorites were the Ming Aralia, Tillandsia Xerographica and the Hoya heart. Didn't care for the Croton personally. I totally appreciate that you acknowledged how much we think of Norfolk pine almost like trash after the holidays. Definitely do find another one to do next! I subscribe to succulent studios but I'm sure there's tons of other options? As a viewer it's so fun to see what the surprise is when you open the box! And it's really helpful how you know so much about all different kinds of plants that no matter what you get you always have interesting information to share. Can't wait for the 2022 updates on these plants, too!

Not a fan of the subscription, but I can see why this would be a great intro for beginner plant parents. And like you, lately, I've been more attracted to commons, like the money tree or a dracaena (which I've murdered last year and this year... 😢). Great content, by the way! 💚😊

I like the look of unbraided money tree! I ordered a ficus triagularis from Hirts after seeing yours ☺ Unfortunately, mine arrived with mealy bugs. Therefore, I cleaned it up and repotted right away. Now it has lost half of the leaves. I also ordered a rare samurai sword and serpentine francissi sans evieria from Hirts and they are sooooo cute! Roots were growing out of the bottom. Wish they had more of a sans evieria collection. What do you recommend for thrips? They killed 2 of my palms and my third is hanging in there trying to survive. Neem oil does not work. Looking forward to see how they grow by next year. 🌱👍🌿

Sometimes a plant will pour its energy into reproduction if it’s been “afraid” of dying. It’s like, a survival Hail Mary play. Maybe that’s why your Aglaonema is flowering instead of growing new leaves now that it’s getting light.

What really surprising is that you didn’t have most of these fairly common plants in your collection. I’m doing an orchid a month club and it’s the same with the 15-20$ plant when it cost almost 45$ a month. Which I get it cost 20-30 to ship a plant, but Come on give me something special once in a while!

Not via subscription but all 3 of my plants came from them looking so sad 😭 my pepperomia is the only one thats perked. The white fusion calathea is sad but im hoping will perk eventually since I know they are sassy like that, but my strawberries and cream ruby rubber plant was the saddest. Most of its poor leaves were bent and were cut. Soil was everywhere. My etsy plants all came stunning and even their pots were taped to the boxes and the soil and foliage was secured. They stuffed 3 plants in one box and the rubber plant was at a 90 degree angle. Minimally wrapped but tons of the huge air filled plastic sacs (idr what you call them lol). I haven't sent anything in response to them about it idk what to do I hate to complain and these poor babies but ugh it makes me sad looking at them. All of the sellers through etsy also came across the country from me. I just wish they would've packaged better 😭 also wish the plants weren't root bound to the point long lengths of roots were growing out the bottom of the pots. The poor calathea had several 5 or 6 inch long roots hanging out the bottom

This was interesting! I’m not sure if I would do a subscription, only because I there are certain varieties that I don’t feel equipped to be able to care for, but for someone who has more confidence in their abilities, it’s a great idea! Did they provide care instructions or just a generic care card? It will definitely be interesting to see how they are a year from now! Thank you for sharing! 💜💚🪴
