My husband and I work together at the same company, from our home. Twice a year, we travel solo. One turn for me, one turn for him. Victoria thank you for reminding ladies about smear tests. I have had pre-cancerous smear results twice and had them lazered off, both detected through my smear tests. Ladies if you are sexually active and can handle a willie in your lady parts then the smear is no different. No excuse. If you get your hair and nails done every few weeks what is the excuse for missing a smear every 3 years!!!!

Absolutely! 1x a year also a mammografie & inbetween you can do your own checkups: lift your arms up & see if the shape of 1 or 2 brests are bit different, feel with your hand (left hand goes too right brest & vica versa) feel slow , don't push to hard, .. There are things we can do ourselfs & other things we have to let do by doctors, Also for brain: if your lips (from the mouth) if the under lip has a very slight hang, don't panic but call your doctor explain what you see, feel .. it can be a sign of a brainstroke or a brainbleed or cancer Thats how my mom discoverd it She rememberd that she had read that & on a morning "Carmen does my lip hang or uneven? Yes mom did you bite your lip or something? No Carmen " she explained it to me why that question, & we were dressed up fearlly fast, drove to doctor & from there to hospital & there they discoverd a braintumor This is 17y ago bc i was pregnant with from my daughter. That was her 1st tumor (succesfully removed 🙌🏻 1y later a new tumor but 😢 nonremoveble 1, but under control 🥵 Message is : check what you can yourself 1x a month & 1x a year do the controls by doctors speciality in vaginal, in breast, in .... Don't overcontrol bc thats pointless & mentaly you get to pay the price for it. Victoria, respect that you use your platform to bring more awerness around these topics

Thank you for your honesty because it just goes to show it's not always sunshine and roses and that's okay. It is normal to argue during intense times. And it's great to recognise it and put plans in place to avoid it from happening again in the future. I work from home now and I am a big advocate of having a separate office. Somewhere where you can close the door and leave and then work is only behind that door. Maybe that would work for you guys? Instigate some "office hours" and any ideas that come up outside of those hours, write them down on a pad or send yourself an email and discuss it the next day. That might help? Xx

I work with my husband and have for years. We have a VERY demanding job personally, emotionally and professionally where it all blends together and our personal life almost doesn't exist. The most important part to keep alive is being close friends but almost having our own separate work spaces available for us to escape to during the day. Advice for work: I work with my lifelong best friend not partner, but this advice might work for you guys. Though we talk all day long, we schedule meetings to talk about work. This could end up being 8 hrs of "meetings" but we literally do not talk about work outside of that time or emails. We don't even really text about work. This was a boundary we set a long time ago and I think it has saved our friendship. If we are hanging out, this boundary helps us to prioritize our friendship over work by choosing to say "work can wait and this is our special time where we can talk about other things that are meaningful" .

So helpful mentally to hear you talk about how difficult things can be for you and Alex working together. Your relationship always look enviable, which I know is the beauty of social media! My husband and I work together for our own business and I think that’s the part that makes it hard, you’re so invested in it and want it to work that everything you have goes into it. I think this can be really positive too, because when there are highs, you share that joy between you. The lows are low though and I don’t have a good solution other than what you’ve said already i.e taking time for each other etc. Sending lots of love and positivity for you both ❤

My partner and I both have very different jobs. He travels a lot and I’m usually home. I know that is different than your situation but it all comes down to communication! I’ve seen a lot of other comments touching on boundaries as well. I think setting those, and recognizing the signs of burnout and then prioritizing alone time or time together. You and Alex are so driven, and it’s absolutely amazing and the key to your success. I think that you guys should honestly set aside time each year or even make it a monthly thing if possible to have like zero filming allowed time. Where you just go for a weekend away no cameras, no photos no editing. Maybe that is too much to ask with your busy schedule, but it would help a lot! Wishing you both all the best, and I speak for myself but I know other viewers would agree that we only want you to be happy at the end of the day and you should most definitely take time to shut off and enjoy each other without us peering in 😂❤

Vic, we have that exact refrigerator (in stainless steel) and love it. Consider that you'll have to access the top part (ours is to the right, yours may be to the left or center, depending on where the installers afixed your filter holder) of that refrigerator in order to change the water filter. Perhaps the kitchen designers can design something that flips up (with hidden hinges), so you can still have that moulding look while still having access to the filter? Love your updates, hope you have a wonderful weekend! ETA: I met my husband at work. After a while, we needed to have some separation during the day. Sometimes, there really is such a thing as too much togetherness. Plan a lot of date nights, and have a place in your home where no work talk is allowed...and yes to trips where you can reconnect in a meaningful way!

Firstly, the content from fashion month was just second to none! You guys amaze me every time! It was so lovely to have a more personal update and I’m sorry that fashion month takes such a toll on your marriage, but I can completely understand. Myself and my fiancé met through work and still work together at the same business to this day and there are times when it’s super tough and I can honestly say there are definitely days or weeks where I think we can’t do it anymore, but currently here we are still happy and planning a wedding despite it all. All we do and I appreciate it must be so much harder for you and Alex but we try and leave work at work as best as possible. If we are ‘off work’ we make a real conscious effort to not really talk work. I mute our work chat to really embrace the work life balance and we just try and focus on the other aspects of us and our relationship outside of our profession. Super difficult at times and sometimes I find myself going to bring work up, but dedicating time to just not chat about it does us the world of good. Completely get that it’s probably different for you guys being creative people and your passion for your work probably would make this super difficult. But you guys are incredible and the way you work together and the ART you create just goes to show how much you love each other. It is so clear in what you produce🥰 Lots of love and please make sure you’re looking after yourselves despite us all loving the content.

Love the authenticity of this vlog! About working with your spouse, it’s difficult, especially when one person is behind the scenes & the other is the “star.” I’m a fine artist & my husband would help with installations, contracts, & the logistical stuff. While I worked my ass off creating, networking, etc I was the one to truly shine & my husband was in the background. Mind u he also is an anesthetist & works 3 days a week. He got tired of doing so much & not having any real time off. This year we decided that I’d slow down a bit & not exhibit every month of the year. Also instead of having him help with the installations, I’d get an artist intern instead. It has helped so much! My intern is learning so much & actually wants to do more to help me. She’s an art student, so both being artists, we speak the same language & inspire each other! She also is getting connected with my network & is just a sponge, filled with enthusiasm. I guess my advice is, if u can get more outside help, please do it. It’s not worth making your marriage suffer. It sounds like u did but maybe get Alex an assistant to help with the photography & editing. There has to be several young photographers out there that are dying to learn & experience what u both are doing. Hope this helped & sorry it’s so long💖☺️🙏🏽

My husband and I run a couple of businesses together and it is HARD. It can be so hard. You're constantly switched on and talking about it like you said. The biggest thing that has helped us is hiring people on the areas of frustration so we don't take it out on each other. So getting an accountant on the team so we don't argue over the accounting and payment terms etc or a marketing director when that's not our key strength. Which would be like hiring another editor so you don't argue about the turn around on editing and publishing. Your fashion week content was great, but compared to other bloggers it was a day or two behind which means it's not new content being shared (which I imagine is frustrating) to your viewers. So hiring people in the areas of frustration can help elevate the stress it has on the relationship because how you talk to your partner is very different to how you talk to a colleague/employee.

My tips for working with your partner. Have a start time and end time to your day. Try and stick to it. Try not to talk about things outside of that time. If you do set a timer for 1 hour max. Schedule a meeting once a week to update each other during work time, making sure you're communicating. Plan a date night every week if you can. You'll won't be able to stick to this at the start but they there are just habits that need to be broken, It takes time. Also, plan more down time together after busy times. Love ❤

Hey Victoria, I really enjoyed your video, in fact I enjoy the majority of them :) when it comes to working with your spouse, I met my now husband at work and we worked in the same department for years before changing careers and how we managed it was, we allowed ourselves 30 minutes to talk about work, usually whilst we were waiting for our train home and once we either boarded the train or the 30 minute timer was up.. we stopped talking about work and did something completely different. I really hope that helps you and Alex and I understand that it can be tricky -- there were definitely times where work got in the way but we found that setting boundaries/a limit of "work things/talk" really helped us grow as a couple and have been together 13 years, married 4 :) xx

Thank you for sharing the other side of being successful and working together. We worked very hard and are now retired. Make sure you secure your future because we are now enjoying our relaxing years. Honestly I couldn’t do it again, including having children and giving time, love and attention to all, work, family and soulmate. I’m grateful I was healthy enough to sustain the energy needed. I pray you will also. ❤❤

☀Love your open chats, Versailles is utterly beautiful, what a gift to have that experience! Also re smears, they are so much more comfortable these days, the speculums used to be cold metal, but they are much nicer now, smooth room temp plastic, and cells are sampled with a long handled tiny brush, so it's as comfortable as it can be and really quick. Plus speaking as a health professional, how you look down there is honestly the last thing on our mind, we've seen it all and are concentrating on getting the sample so please never feel embarrassed - also we have smears too, so we know how you feel x

Love your honesty about your relationship, I was only thinking a few vlogs ago that it must be a lot to work with your husband in that career and spend so much time together but I think you do it so well . Both very good at what you do and Alex is amazing to be around fashion , makeup , hair etc all the time 😂 xxx

☀️ My husband and I met at work, and 7 years later still work together. We love it! We do try not to speak about work whilst out of it, but it can be hard. Advice from me is to keep going, stay strong, you can get through it 💪❤ I love watching your videos! Xxx

Lovely to have you back doing a normal homely vlog. As much as I’ve enjoyed seeing what you’ve been up to I love home vlogs. Just been for my last cervical test due to my age. Went well all ok as I’ve just got the results. So incredibly important. Love to you both and Beau of course. Xx

Me and hubby don’t work in your industry but we worked together in the same company (in sales) and I agree you get so sucked in to constant work talk. It’s a conscious effort to not talk about it until you actually start working, so no work chat over breakfast, sit more at the table and make it a no work zone while eating, etc It’s hard but you 2 can definitely do it! Me and hubs are always told we have such a lovely relationship but it’s not like you share the fights or the disagreements, so I so much relate to the “marriage is a work” and you wake up everyday choosing to love that person, and you prioritize the two of you, sometimes you cave, sometimes he caves and then you go back and cuddle Boe, (he loves you so much it’s adorable)

Thanks for… so much in this vlog. Your honesty about the stress of fashion month, and the stress it puts on your marriage is something we don’t hear about often. And yes to getting a Pap smear! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am screaming out loud to any woman that still does ignore a smear test. Please do it. I am begging you. I’ve religiously had my smear tests and then wham, bam, thank you mam.. had my 2 yearly smear tests and had abnormalities which I then had to go and have removed. Was the scariest few weeks of my life. Love you Victoria, for promoting these topics. I’m not out the woods yet, as I’m carrying the virus that is now detected with smear tests, but fingers crossed 🤞 it will be ok. On a lighter note.. absolutely loving your dress sense these days. You look effortless ! And you’re killing it 💋♥️

🌞🌞🌞🌞I was just talking about getting a pap smear test to my co-worker today! I had to get a biopsy a while ago because it was abnormal but I am fine now. It's so important to get a screening, your health is so important. Thanks for the message Victoria!

You and Alex need to find the time to spend time away from each other!! Doing things INDIVIDUALLY & MISSING each other is so very important for a marriage, especially for couples that work together. Luv u guys❤

Hi Victoria, thank you for posting this and showing the reality of your life as an influencer is not as easy/simple as some may think. Other influencers come off at times as quite smug and la la la their way through vlogs which is most strange considering we all know every job has its ups and downs. Anyway thank you for keeping it real!🙂 I would like to mention to you as a Cle de Peau ambassador that it would be helpful if their staff in dept stores were more helpful and liberal in giving customers the samples of the products. I went to one of the most famous stores on earth and I could see there was plenty of samples in the drawer, I'd asked for several options of skincare (since you have said how wonderful it is) and came away with 1 tiny sample. Very disappointing that CdP spend a fortune on these press trips for influencers who are 'gifted' the products and yet the people who are 'buying' their products are overlooked. Not sure I'm a fan of that! This is constructive feedback and happy for you to use it to feedback to them. xx
