This is not an “upgrade.” This is a whole new system. A whole new game. It’s also a slap in the face to the people that bought your sub-par (What you pointed out in this video) Gen 2 system in the past 6-12 months. No worries. Not difficult to create a new busbar system and cover for my good ole’ obsolete Gen 2.

We definitely do not want our previous version to be viewed as sub-par or obsolete. We have many thousands of those systems in use every day, working great and serving the purpose. It was designed to be very heavy duty and to outlast your vehicle. In the future we will continue to listen to customer feedback to provide the best solution for their needs. Improvement and innovation is a never ending process.

I just purchased a genesis dual battery system which has the older solenoid. Installed it maybe two weeks ago. Is there a program to upgrade those users. It was pretty expensive & I really don’t want to have to purchase it again since I just got it.

The gen 3 will bolt right up to your gen 2 and is on their site for $449. Ez pz I'm gonna do it now. Save the gen 2 for another vehicle....perfect for an older offroading project or something!

So if you don't have the G-screen, where is the button that you push to charge your cranking battery, should it get drained?

Can u put on tundra 2022
@GenesisOffroad
Жыл бұрын
No, our current Tundra kit is just for the 2007-2021 models. Everything changed under the hood on the new 2022 model. However, you may be able to use our new universal battery brackets to mount a second battery somewhere else. Check this video for more info - kzitem.info/news/bejne/sJt-rq6graWkrKQ

Now, how do you keep your engine bay so clean--is this a showroom Jeep that is always parked in a garage? What's your secret?

Ha! We do take this Jeep around to shows all over the country, so yes, we do try to keep it wiped down and looking nice. :)

Simple. Just connect the Switch Pros positive and negative wires to our bus bars. That's it!

@@GenesisOffroad that’s what I’ve got currently. I’d love a unit that integrated the switching capabilities to reduce the mess under the hood.

Can a 300 Amp alternator on a Jk with Gen 1 make electrical system act funny
@GenesisOffroad
Жыл бұрын
Our system is compatible with all alternator types, but the silver solenoid is rated to handle 200 amps continuously flowing through it. It's unlikely that any alternator would put out over 200 amps for any extended period of time, but we'd recommend talking to your alternator manufacturer if you suspect any funny issues. Our system simply links 2 batteries together, but it does not alter the way the vehicle charges the batteries or anything else.
