If this was lore, I'd think the piglins were the ones who built the deserts. They have Blackstone, and gold, and now they are condemned to the wastes of the nether. They crave gold, as they used to have tons of it.

I would prefer this to be a very hard structure to find, but once you find it and enter the pyramid if you damaged the pyramid in any way (as in took gold blocks or blackstone blocks) the sarcophagus is open and when you try to leave the boss spawns, but if no damage has been done to the pyramid you are rewarded with a gold block and allowed to leave. beating the Pharoah boss would have a chance of dropping netherite armour (obviously he has to be wearing netherite, and the % chance should be very low) and a new item called the pharoahs staff which when used sends a ankh projectile flying in the direction the player is looking with a max distance of 500 blocks that deals true damage? idk this is just an idea of course. Oh and for balancing reasons the boss should be harder than the wither so if you just spawned into the world and found the structure you dont have easy access to this insanely broken weapon and netherite armour. Also beating the boss should provide lore as to why the piglins were banished to the nether, and why their Pharoah still lies in the desert of the overworld.

What if it wasn't actual gold blocks tho? It would be a "pyramid gold block" which could be smelted into a single nugget (think a stone block covered in a thin layer of gold because a solid block of gold wouldn't be realistic). It would be a sure but very slow way to acquire gold. It could also require diamond mining level and take long to mine (not obsidian long, but long) to make it harder to obtain.

This was an incredible recreation of a normally underappreciated Minecraft structure! The details such as the hieroglyphs and the symbols of the Egyptian gods really added to it's authenticity. Honestly, it reminded me of the prince of Egypt, as I believe it would've been something that Rameses would have built if he had carry on his reign without hinderence. Also, small fact for you: The architecture of Egyptian structures helped inspire the art deco period, which you can see many examples of if you look at Bioshock one and two!
