I’m 70 and setting up my base camp in my backyard because i just got over covid and really don’t want to be around anyone. Bought all new equipment and I’m ready to go outside once it cools off. My friends just giggle.

👏 👏 👏 I like the cut of your jib. Let them giggle, you know what's good. 😊 🏕️ I'm heading out again in just a few days, and I cannot sit still, I'm so excited!

Just getting excited about something achievable is a Triumph! Would you rather be a person who lives dreams or a person who laughs at those who live dreams? Life at Full Volume; squeezing out Every drop; loving the mess And the tidying up! SO pleased to have found you all! Hi from New Orleans⚜️

68 here. Lost my home. Bought a van, a storage building and a camper. Living in the camper on friends property. I am rigging my van, selling the camper and going Against the Wind with my Beagle Jessi. I cannot lay here and die and I'm too old to be hauling a a camper. I want to get where I want and live simply. Blessings to you all I hope you are well.

I love the way you painted your table. I never would have thought of that and it makes such a difference.

I loved it that way for a few months, and then covered it with woodgrain shelf liner. Either is better than the original pattern 😁

Hey easy tip. Pop your quilt in a pillow case when not in use, then you just have pretty pillow

Love it! I haven’t shown it yet, but so ended up cutting the quilt to be a small blanket. Now I keep it in a yoga mat sling - but as a pillow, it would be much cuter 😍

to combat cold nights, go for loft over the synthetics. try savers or the goodwill outlet center or yard sales, freecycle for a down sleeping bag or duvet/bed quilt. wash the down and dry at home or a laundromat. i have spent many nights in my car/tent well below zero and it is down that has kept me sane with a good night's sleep. the loft traps your body heat in a way that synthetic blankets won't. also, try heating a stone in the campfire and wrapping it in a wool sweater (not in the coals, but near them or it will get too hot). if you're just running a stove, hot water in a nalgene or real hot water bottle.

Try sleeping crosswise in the hammock. Also, on washing down, add at least two tennis balls to the dryer to fluff up the down, otherwise it will all clump in one area and no warmth will be had.... PS. Love your table!

Love your style, simple! May I ask how much does your camping box weigh? It looks very cool and functional, but wondering if I can carry it in and out of car by myself if I make something similar. Thanks!

Thank you! The plastic bins and wire baskets save a lot of weight. I never weighed it, but I’d guess 10-15lbs empty, 30-40lbs fully loaded. Could be lighter if I didn’t use mason jars, but dang it, I like them 😂

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I almost choked on my coffee ☕ when you said where's the hammocks for one person who just wants to be left alone. RFLMAO 😂😂😂 I had just taken a big gulp. Great channel. I am an autistic savant LGBT Native American whistleblower human rights investigator. Very unpopular with Jim Crow Joe Biden & Thumps Epstein Uniparty partners-in-crime. Lots of great ideas for my whistleblower Foxhole camp/fort. Love the cactus lights.
