I'm glad you liked it. It was a "back to the roots" video for us too.

Actually not, it works in dual channel the way we put it in too. I only had to up the speed in the BIOS manually (2933 MHz), that's as much as the board supports.

Windows 10 and later installations remind me so much why I prefer Linux. Nice machine. Actually, several spinning rust 5400 rpm 1 TB WD HDDs will serve you much better as data / storage drives. Cheap, and for that usage, their failure rate is much less than an SSD. Plus, you can defrag them without any issues. I obtained mine via Ewaste cannibalization from DVRs. Once, I found a 2 TB one. It's interesting that your motherboard takes two NVME SSDs.

Yeah I know what you mean, I spent over an hour just decluttering Windows from all the crap it come with nowadays. Also it keeps pushing me torwards a Microsoft Account, but no I don't want it. Can I not tell it to shut up for good?? Really annoying...

@MacintoshMen you can sanitize Windows 10 to where it's a good OS. But it takes about 4 days of effort to do it. Things are hidden, and you have to work to find the proper switches to flip or radio buttons to click on. Quite often, you have to check all the boxes available and then uncheck them just to uncheck the primary button. That's Microsoft and Google's dark design. Shut down all automatic suggestions and updates. Choose what you want the OS to do for you. After all, you bought and paid for the computer and the OS installed on it. Steer clear of Windows 11 and 12. Microsoft and Apple are increasingly making it clear the OS belongs to them, and they have control of your data that's on the cloud (someone else's server) that they control access to. One should never pay a subscription to access any data they've created. Open source OS / freeware and keeping all your data on your computer / external backups is the only way to fly. Truly, the best OSes published by Microsoft and Apple are Windows 7 and High Sierra. Simple, elegant, and no longer supported. Well, Microsoft does still unofficially support Windows 7, but it will cost you.
