Unfortunately I live in a democratic homeless encampment Sanctuary City that's getting worse and worse. All this will take is the news media to fan the flames of an innocent person shot even if the story is a lie or not. People will start looting, rioting, protesting, robbing, getting ugly and more. The homeless drug addicts will definitely get worse in a situation like this. They already steal and commit mistemenors to felloniones everyday!!! The drug addicted homeless are already very bad in all these democratic-run Sanctuary Cities. I have a mobile stocked tiny home on wheels and I will leave this city immediately if this happens. I know many of places to go where it's calm, rural and some places in the country.

The only reason I moved to a small city is because that's the only place I could find that would rent me a little piece of land to put my stuff on. I have the money to even buy a place but the prices are too high now. I will wait until America is busted and begging me to buy then I might buy. Another big advantage about renting you're not strapped down and reading you don't have to pay any taxes on a piece of property You Don't own. And I'm always looking for backup places of land to remt which I've already found. But keep this in mind if you're by any City. Look up the homeless shelters in that City call them or look and see what time they serve meals and go by there see how many people it is. This will give you a little idea how many people are walking the streets. Not all of the homeless or bad just about over 93% are drug addicted. And if people are walking with backpacks or walking a whole lot around in the democratic-run cities. What I found out is homeless drug addicts and addicted people are always walking looking to steal hustle commit crimes robberies rape human trafficking even murder to get their next drug fix and it's an ongoing battle everyday 24/7 it's a never-ending battle for the drug addicted. They will steal anyting to barter trade or sell it all for drugs. Bicycles, barbecue tanks, yard ornaments, door packages, mail and literally anything of any value. That is why I say drug addicts are like aunts they're always in search for food and their food is drugs drugs and more drugs and repeat.

For people with little storage space. Ditch the box spring under your mattress and get a bed frame that is design to only utilize the mattress. They are higher to make up for the box spring and they are generally 14" to 18" high underneath. 5 Gallon buckets are just over 15" with a lid.

Can you guys get weapons training, preferably from ex-military instructors? I'm ex British Army and we were extremely well trained, spending many hours repeating procedures before we even got to live fire. 30 years after not handling one I could still strip down an SLR in under 10 seconds blindfolded and still recite word for word stoppage drills and the marksmanship techniques. When I first started prepping it was all about the guns. I’ve served as an 11B in the Army, worked in LE in my younger days and shoot competitions. What I neglected was my physical health. HUGE mistake! I train daily now with weights and cardio. I’m up to 15 miles I can walk nonstop. I need to get up to 20 miles. I’m still on meds for the time being so I’ve stocked up on those. I’ve also formed a small group with friends I can trust stat are nurses, doctors, ex LE and or military. We’ve started planning and storing supplies. We’re all picking up new skill sets. We’re all with in an hours walk of each other max. We all shoot the same handguns and same rifles and train with them monthly. We’ve picked the best location to assemble if need be and set up a QRF plan should it be needed.

Your group is doing it right and checks off many of the complaints I have with most people's ideas of "bugging out". The reality is, most people aren't in a position to bug out. Even if their physical fitness isn't an issue, age of family members are. Too many people over 45 are on medications. To many people under the age of 12 aren't able to carry their own weight. If you are with an extended family and you need to bug out on foot, you aren't even making it one day without problems. Grandma can't keep up. And little Jimmy wants somebody to carry him plus, his supplies, plus their own. If you do need to bug out, and vehicles are out of the question, you best bet is to try to leave on bike and not foot. And where ever you are heading needs to be somewhere you can get to in at least a couple of days tops. For example, if you commute to work. And it is a hour's drive, you are looking at about 35 - 45 miles from your job to home. Now, how do you do this if you are going home on foot? The average fit person can walk 1 mile in 15 minutes. So 4 miles an hour. But in a disaster situation, you probably aren't getting anywhere close to 4 miles an hour. You will be lucky to do 2.5 miles. So if you have 35 miles to walk, it will take you about 14 hours to get home not counting breaks and downtime. If you are by yourself and reasonably fit, sure you can do 14 hours in one day. But the reality is, you are probably looking at two days minimum. Especially if you are with slower family members. Be it because of health, age, or just wrong foot wear. I'd never suggest somebody try to bug out solo. But at the same time, you need to pick your group members carefully. Mom with kids? You need to keep walking. The 50 year old guy? Keep walking. The 20 year old, who is going the same way as you and is keeping his head down? He might be the person to team with. Part ways when your trip sends you in different directions. But here is another truth. Is going home the best choice? Sure it brings thoughts of safety but if home has minimal supplies and resources, why are you wasting time going home? You are a refugee at this point. Your best chance is to try to scavenge what you can and come up with a better destination. Yes, this will make you a thief, a raider, and your average bad guy but in a life and death situation, you have to make life and death choices.

The government might try to "regulate" it at choke points like bridges, but will probably fail. My thoughts on a truck gun is walking distance and perhaps area. If you are a traveling salesman (which most people aren't) and are regularly several days walk from home, a truck gun may be warranted. If you work consistently a days walk from home (which most people do), I don't think it's needed. If we have an EMP that shuts down most vehicles, people won't go nuts in that day for the most part. That is really the only disaster that would disable your vehicle though and put you on foot. A weapon, especially a long gun with ammo just adds weight. If you can conceal carry, just do that is my thought.

When people come asking for help, I'd use that opportunity to teach them. It may be hard for them, but they have enough stuff in their homes that they can use if they knew what to do. I have this very concern since my father refuses to prep full scale as I'd like to, but I fear that because he is a retired Marine that family and friends in the area will come here because we have a few acres of land and they may think that he will know what to do. I'm the prepper here and I'd like to verbally beat them into getting prepared, but I probably won't hear from them or see them until the crap hits the fan. I can try to grow extra food and raise some livestock, but of course I can't feed them while they remain ignorant and provide nothing to help me. I don't go out, I have not had a vacation in years and I visit my younger brother maybe twice a year for one or two days. I have struggled to do what I have, to get my gear and I collect and read books so I'm not giving anyone anything. Without their labor or money I can't do much for them. I'm happy I do have something that uses 9mm, but I'm hopeful to stock more and hopefully enough. And handgun is good for self defense and to get you to and long gun. We're I work it's common for most of us to be armed either on us or in are tool box. I have and glock17 and ar9 that travel with me when legal. The ar9 is locked under my backseat with 10 33 round mags and I keep two 19 round mags in the arm rest and two more in my bag I carry everywhere. Fire starters extra lighters a few knives. One thing I do need is a few good flashlights. Hope I never need any off it but if you do its best to already have it. Been sick with the flu last few days and found you guys. I have watched some of Steve's videos the last few months. The city's will eat themselves after about 7 to 10 days. Luckily I'm in and big little city's suburbs... I'm not and preper but I have been running the hills of wv for 45 years now. The people from the city's have no idea how to take to the woods. Well most of them that is. My biggest concern is and emp and really want to get and old truck that would make it and not fry like my diesel computer on wheels.

Stocking up on freeze dried water is so important. You can never have enough. Just get it in the 5 gallon pails, the canned freeze dried water has a metallic taste when reconstituted.

Great video. A word on the inflation numbers, food and energy have always been removed from the "official number" due to volatility. This was not something that just happened under Biden.
@SurvivalDispatch
Жыл бұрын
We should have been clearer. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) includes food and fuel and is the number that most Administrations and the MSM have historically focused on. The current corrupt, and inept O'Biden Administration, and the disgrace that our media has become, have consciously chosen to suppress the CPI, while promoting Core Inflation numbers, that do NOT include food and fuel, because those essentials show just how terrible Obama's third term continues to be for America.

Inflation has been high a long time but they dont include education, health care or housing in their equations and I dont think they ever have.

@@stevebreedlove9760 The Consumer Price Index has always included everything. CPI is what matters. Core inflation excludes fuel, food and housing. The three things that have especially skyrocketed under the inept O’Biden admin, which is why they make frequent mentions of core inflation and not the CPI.

Having a truck rifle is valuable in many scenarios, not just shtf emp. Active shooter at your kids school, unstable person witb a rifle, gang or cartel depending on location, multiple attackers, ect ect. The biggest thing is the range, 20 guys with pistols vs one rifle at 300 yards. Once 5 of them get dropped i doubt the mob continues to advance. Keep a poncho that can conceal your rifle to still stay somewhat greyman if youre worried about being a target, but once 556 starts flying, mobs will scatter. And i know these two guys both have truck rifles but dont want you to have them. Less competition. Look at Eden indoor grow set ups or microgreens for producing food, but you plan to stay in the city, youre dead anyway. If you plan to run to the mountains, the good ol boys will tear you up. Have a predetermined place to go that has a resupply outside of the city. BUT THE BIGGEST THING IS TO BE AWARE ENOUGH TO GET OUT OF THE CITY WITHIN 3 HOURS OF WHATEVER EVENT OCCURS! 6 HOURS AND THE HIGHWAYS ARE CONGESTED, 24 HOURS AND THE NATIONAL GUARD HAS BLOCKED OFF ALL EXITS.

We have numerous videos promoting truck guns. We've never discouraged people from doing so. As a matter of fact, we routinely have "hall monitors" chastising us for promoting them because someone could break into a vehicle and steal them. That's after we've already provided instructions on how to secure them. 🤷🏼♂️

Unless you know how to dress and preserve the wildlife that you shoot, it will all go to waste and you'll still starve. And unless you can live on less than 1000 calories a day, there won't be a squirrel or raccoon within 50 miles of where you live after just a short time. During the great depression deer and squirrels were literally eradicated from large areas of the country. Some idiot who thinks he can shoot a deer and then just carve a steak out of it will literally be taking the food right out of your mouth.
