Should also note that the RF antenna should not be placed near your Audio/Video gear. That is where the interference typically originates, most notably from amplifiers and cable/sat boxes. Cheap HDMI cables can also cause interference issues. It's best to route it away from equipment, and in my experience, lower is better. I will try to place them in crawl spaces or basements when able to. The molex plug on the antenna and the base station allows you to make the connection with standard CAT5 or CAT6 cable. This will be your best bet at eliminating interference

True...we see the most issues when they are placed around devices with WiFi cards. Blu-Ray players have always been chief offenders.

Calling the MRF the brain is incorrect. It merely routes signal from the remote via RF signal and outputs IR. There is no programming stored on it, like a MRX processor in Total Control does.

RF base station has too many syllables. However...noted and correct.

I agree, it’s more a signal converter than the brain. The remote itself is the brain.

Do you have an MX980 or MX990? If so, the blue light signifies that the remote is fully charged. If it is always blue regardless of the state of the battery, that isn't normal. However, if your remote continues to get charged as normal...maybe no need to fix it?

Don’t use hot glue unless you really think you need to. Buy a good quality double sided mounting tape, the 3m tape that a lot of manufacturers use is garbage. But before sticking the ir emitter to your equipment clean the spot you’ll be sticking it to with a high % rubbing alcohol 70% or higher. The foam type mounting tape is crap too so avoid it.
