Official BRP Advanced Notice - Safety Recall for Model Year 2024 Ski-Doo MXZ and Renegade snowmobiles equipped with Pilot X skis. Some of the left Pilot X skis on those snowmobiles may break due to a molding process issue at the supplier.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
BRP has determined that some of the left Pilot X skis on Model Year 2024 Ski-Doo MXZ and Renegade Snowmobiles may break due to a molding process issue at the supplier. Only the left skis from mold cavity AC2 are affected. This condition could cause a loss of control and serious injuries.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted snowmobiles. A plan to address this issue is in the works and will be shared in the coming days. In the meantime, a proactive inspection can be done to identify left skis that are at risk.
Please contact your dealer and bring your vehicle in for an inspection at no cost. The inspection will require disassembling the left ski from the vehicle.
