Ugh, this is one of those times I just cannot suspend disbelief for dramatic purposes. That lady would be enjoying the hospitality of King County Corrections, and a restraining order would prohibit her from getting near the victim. In Washington State-just like all but three states in the US,-health care workers are required to be mandated reporters in cases of domestic violence. It makes no difference that the victim didn’t want to press charges. Why this dated concept keeps being perpetuated in modern drama, I don’t know. With that said, excellent review as usual, Dr. Malik!

JP Filmmzz Three cheers for the end of inequality between the sexes society claims to want so badly! I don’t know how this double standard can still exist, and it disgusts me. I’m a feminist, and I think violence against men by women is as unacceptable as men against women. Not all feminists are loons. Although I see why the group as a whole gets such a bad reputation when many take delight in a man being mutilated, or find a tv show like this to be an example of sending a good message. I am not familiar with that 2011 case. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks.

JP Filmmzz It is an utter disgrace and indefensible. I sure hope most women do not find this humorous. I hope the fraus of Facebook are not a sample of the general population. The Catherine Kieu case was shocking to read, including the reactions on “The Talk” that you warned me about. At least Sara Gilbert appeared to call out Osbourne. However, she called it, “a little bit sexist.” It’s far worse than that! At least she compared it to a woman’s breast being cut off, and if anyone laughed about that, they’d be crucified. So think, ladies? How is this any different? I think those who have this double standard justify it because women are historically the more oppressed group based on their sex. That is still a terrible excuse, and it needs to end. You don’t fight for equality among the sexes by trying to tear down men or make light of tragedies that happen to them. That’s one area where society has gone off the rails. The Kieu case took me down the rabbit hole of other infamous mutilation cases. Everyone knows of Lorena Bobbitt, but there were several more I’d never heard of in addition to the Kieu case.

Well, with 40 years under the badge I have never been called to the ER/ED for one cut off. I have been called to at least 2 that had been Super Glued. The offended female super glued the penis while male offender was in a deep sleep, (passed out drunk). People often return to violent domestic situations. I worked a murder with a long history of violence. The woman put the man in the hospital by beating him with a ball bat. He did not press charges and went back to her. This time she shot him. Her defense, and statement was the pistol just went off and fired until empty all by its self. Problem was M. E. testified at trial that 4 of the rounds were fired with the assailant had to be standing over the victim at less than 18 inches from his head.

The crime is that of Mayhem which is generally defined under common law and by statute as conduct which “deprives a human being of a member of his body, or disables, disfigures or renders it useless….Castration and/or the removal of a man or woman’s private parts has always constituted the crime of mayhem. Mayhem is considered a felony (serious crime) and a crime not only against the person but against the State. It is not necessary per se that the victim “file charges” against the alleged perpetrator---the State files charges against the alleged perpetrator (that’s why you see all criminal cases State of ______v John Doe and not Richard Roe v. John Doe (that would be a civil action which may also be concurrently filed with the criminal case) The victim may be compelled to testify as failure to do so may constitute the crime of obstruction of justice. The man in this clip states he will not press charges---not really up to him but up to the State and I suspect the State will press charges against anyone who does that against another human being---the perpetrator may plead reduced mental capacity etc. and while the victim may be compelled to testify against his spouse---he may also elect to provide an impact statement if the defendant is found guilty, seeking leniency from the court. Courts may look to punish the offender but also look to discourage other individuals from doing the same action and have it within their power to make life pretty miserable on any person found guilty of such an offense.

This normalization of horrific violence against men is sickening. None of them would have laughed if it was a woman who had her genitals mutilated. Dr. Malik covers a wide range of topics with such decorum, this would be another interesting one to address. I do hope the coaches and the organizations are also on top of safety, so anyone who plays a sport with a chance of injury has to take the proper precautions. I know I had to do this to play school and league sports. As a female, that differed from males of course, but if we didn’t have the right equipment, we didn’t play. Hopefully that can ease your concerns a bit.

You did not specify what sports you are talking about, which is pretty important. Boys and men are not instructed to wear a cup in most sports because it can hinder performance, be very awkward and the risk of injury is small. The person can also choose to wear multiple pairs of underwear or a bit of foam for sports where extreme forces are rarely encountered. How many people wear glasses when cycling or running? I have glasses because I'm near sighted and a few times it has saved me from being hit in the eye by an insect at high speeds but that's about it. If boys need to wear cups because of "sports" then we all need to be wearing glasses to protect our eyes, especially as our eyes are much more sensitive and they cannot roll with the punches (twist and turn to get out of harm's way) like testicles.

@@miesvaillanykyisyytta3252 Your constant insisting and interest on detailed/ graphic discussions regarding minor boys genitalia starts to sound creepy. I’m saying this because I’m a parent too, and one of my degrees is in criminal justice and sociology, and an overwhelming number of females including mothers, teachers, care givers and so on are showing active interest in a perverted gratifying ideation in regards with sexual topics having minor boys as subjects. They are perpetrating this sick behavior under the pretense of the nurturing nature often given by default to females. You could easily address your concern by using the term “private parts “ but your constant and repeated emphasis on the certain minors sexual organs are strongly revealing a disturbing obsession with the particular organs in the case of the male minors. If you are that concerned and claim so much embarrassment about the approach of this subject with your sons, common sense would dictate you would have a talk with your husband and have him address the inquiry with a male doctor for the same reason of not inducing emotional trauma on your sons. That’s what a mother with ethical standards would do. A father going on an KZitem channel claiming a big concern for his minor daughters in regards with their sexual organs , whether it’s about menstrual cycle, private hygiene or any other topic regarding the sexual organs of his minor daughters, and who would constantly insist in getting detailed information and would mention over and over “ my minor daughters’ vaginas “ or my minor daughters’ clitorises” or “ my minor daughters’ boobs” would also point out to a strong sick perverted ideation in regards with minor females genitalia and sexuality. You’re openly labeling yourself as having a weird interest in male minors private parts under a pretense that has no place in the behavior of a grown adult female , especially since your concern could be easily addressed in a much efficient and private manner by your husband. Does that make sense? If it does , and you didn’t realize what you come across as when insisting on this subject so much , then do the right thing and stop.

Vaping Fast break: it is because a growing trend in American society to compensate for the alleged women’s inequality and “ exploitation” by men... yes it’s a biased radical feminist supported trend. Although not openly declared all the time , one can see this type of gender vindictive tendency perpetrated by some females even by doctors. In cases where the person has a cultural lineage tied to an environment where females are still claiming to be without equal rights such as India, the westernized females with ties to that culture feel the compulsive need to do their weird informal social justice by berating males and promoting demeaning and degrading concepts such as sexual violence against them in social media , main stream movies, etc. It is done often under a pretext such as men’s health topic reviews presenting sexual violence against men as funny and entertaining as is depicted in the movie scenes selected by the owner of this channel while sexual violence against females is considered taboo let alone to be laughed at and made humor of such as the owner of this channel feels the strong need to act on. I've been having difficulty urinating lately, I get done peeing, then about 15 to 20 seconds passes and I have to go again, is it my prostate? I'm 62 years old.

I feel like in Grey’s anatomy the residents just end up choosing a random specialty 😅 idk exactly what it’s like in the US but in Germany we e.g. start as neurosurgery residents, cardiology residents etc. and have to stick to that or start over again but we definitely can’t just do a general surgery residency and end up going into neurosurgery or urology or whatever else we want. It’s such a weird concept on Grey’s anatomy

Yes, that is pretty much the way of it in the US, making Grey’s Anatomy very wrong on that front, lol. Some schools’ tracks will differ a bit for some specialities. For example, The University of Washington (UW),which Grey’s Anatomy is loosely based on (being that UW is the only medical school in the city of Seattle, WA where Grey’s takes place) has a program where heart surgeons can complete four years of general surgery before applying to the cardiothoracic program. There is also a path where one can have a joint match in both general and cardiothoracic in their first year of residency. Every school will be different, but it certainly is glaring when Grey’s Anatomy has people bouncing from general surgery to OB/GYN to orthopedic surgery, etc. 😂

In some movies (Dr.Giggles, I Spit on Your Grave, Hostel 2), men bleed to death after their genitals are removed. How likely is this in reality?
@photojax4862

I believe if the testicles are sliced off along with the penis the blood loss would be horrific. The blood arteries leading into the penis at its root would gush blood. A tough way for a man to die.

@@AB-ew6tz By default in accordance with the gender equal rights then sexual violence against females is also beautiful and entertaining for the same purpose of a more peaceful society with less drama . Main steam movies such as “Irreversible “where actress Monica Bellucci accepted to be sodomized in reality for the authenticity of the scene, it has a great value as well by default and it is also a beautiful entertaining movie for men and society in general , meaning you as well (;

Hey Doc.., if 60% of your patients are female.., why don't you do some videos on the humiliating, embarrassing, and sad things that happen to the female reproductive organs and vaginas..? Why is literally EVERY video you do focused on only the Male body..? You said yourself that a full 60% of your patients were women..? Why no gender equality there, Doctor..?

When I first saw this episode of Grey's, I thought the subject matter should serve as a cautionary tale to men who like to sleep around. Eventually, a player will come across a woman who feels scorned and wants revenge.

So men should also mutilate the female genitalia if she sleeps around ? I don’t get it...Is psychopathic behavior the new trend encouraged for women? That means that middle eastern mutilation of female genitalia or death punishment is made valid when they cheat on the men according to the principle advanced by Malik through her sick affinity to this type of reviews.

So what would a "cautionary tale" be for women who like to sleep around? They get their vulva carved out and we do an episode on a medical drama about reattaching the vulva?
