Hi, thank you for your informative videos. Please keep us updated on any new information concerning physical presence in the US when applying for naturalization (if the USCIS still checks the physical presence requirement not only in the past 5 years but from the time the green card was granted). Thank you🙏

Her niece who is 50, and just finished care giver school of somekind over in the Philippines. My girlfriend and the niece wants to have her over to North Carolinia where we live to help her out with her day to day during her treatments. The niece has a passport if it helps. My girl friend is on medical leave, and did work 40 hours but she makes 15 something hour. I just learned about humanitarian parole just yesterday. How do we get her here asap? I did print out form I-134 and I think it was I-131.

Thanks for your informative video. Now that the N-400 can be applied online can we be outside the US at the time of application? These 90 days residency in a forum you make the application shall be a physical presence inside that jurisdiction or having a permanent address, the State ID, the bank account and etc. would be enough. I mean the applicant's residential address is in Los Angeles California for example but at the time of filing N-400 online, she or is on a trip abroad, so she is not physically inside the US but has a permanent address and other proof of address does it make any issue later on? Highly appreciate it if you could answer that.

Hi, I have a question. I talked with 2 different USCIS people on the phone, and they told me that I can file my n-400 aboard. After traveling outside and finished filling my N-400 aboard, I realized there is an addition rule that a person has to stay in the resided state for 3 months before filling. I have met all the physical presence and continuous residency requirements, but filed my N-400 aboard. Will this be a problem? Thank you so much for answering!

My husband is from Brazil. His Brazilian father is deceased now and never married his mother. Shortly after, she married his stepfather who is a US citizen. They are now divorced. They married before he became 18. On the form N-400, there is a section to whether state if his parents married before his 18th birthday if one of his parents is a US citizen. His mother is a permanent resident. Should he check "yes" or "no"?

My green card is almost 3 years now and I happen to still have my schooling to be finished here in my home country, I've been in the US for 7 months but then I came back to the Philippines and start the course of being an Aircraft maintenance, before all that I applied for a re-entry permit, now it is going to expire and I need to go back to the US for at least a year to continue my residency, I applied for a leave of absence in my school here and told them I will return to finish my studies formally. What are the grounds for me to still apply for a US citizenship, does having a green card for 3 years still counts? I know I still have to be physically living in the US for 2.5 years with no travels at all right?

Hi sir, I obtained my green card about 5 yrs ago and planning to apply for naturalization. However, in the last 5 years, I go on vacation at least 3 months every year to Philippines during summer break but I still stay in the US 9 months out of the year. I was wondering if that could be a problem that falls under "multiple absences that is less than 6 months". Thank you so much!

No but like he said he needs to review your case like for example if you can’t prove you’ve been paying taxes on the us, if it looks like u work somewhere else and don’t pay American taxes for it. Generally if your docs look like you are clearly not living in the us. If you call the us home and that’s where you’re based then it should go super smooth.

Good day, sir. I stay in United States since 4 of June , 2014. I never been outside United States, since I comes to USA, I apply for my citizenship in March 1, 2020. I never received my Green card for 10 years, I was applied for my I-751 , in June 6 2017, now my case outside normal processing time. From beginning I come to USA by K-1 visa.. I married with my husband on 27 June, 2014. I got my first green card in September , 2015 , for two years. The green card expired in September 2017, before 90 days we was applied for I-751 , it was in 6 June 2017. I never received my Green card for 10 years, I tired to wait for my Green card interview, I applied for my citizenship case N-400, after 5 years, in 1 March 1 , 2020. USCIS said since I applied for my citizenship I will have interviews for both cases in one time. I still waiting for notice for interview, but in August 1, 2021 will be 17 mouth, since I filed my case N-400, online. I am in Texas, there is on the website USCIC.GOV, mention from 14 mounts to 17 Mounts, I can got my citizenship interview, I still not yet received noting. What I should to be doo? Please can you navigate me, what I need to do, to expedite my situation. Thank you very much for your videos.

Im confused as to when can I apply for naturalization. watching your video I see that I could apply in 12/2023? is this my only option? when you mention the change in law that they now look at any gaps even after 10-15 years... does having a re-entry permit make a difference? Thanks! Sal
