I love watching volleyball from this angle at the end of the court. Wish all videos out there filmed this way.

100 percent agree. Way better to understand the pace and movement of the game. Yes a higher angle would be better.

Need to start a crowdfunding account for the US opposite. He needs dance lessons for footwork and music lessons for timing.

his footwork is horrible looking but I guess it works. technic is a means to an end not the end all be all

Jump approach technique is a bit irrelevant when you are as tall as that guy. It's not like Nishida needing to use every part of his body to jump as high as possible. As long as the timing is there for him to meet the ball at an apex, it's fine

great channel with awesome tactical camera! Guys please help - can't find out what sign/comb US players (front and back row) are showing when team serving. For instance 0:32 (front row players are showing index finger as "one"). Is it actual middle blocker location to prevent aggring fake middle blocker movement from back row?

i was gonna say that he played pretty lazy and reached for a lot of things that wasn't his ball. He probably was a middle who is transitioning to a RS cause he has a decent swing and still learning how to transition.

Meh, I don't think he's that bad. I read in a comment once that the kid didn't even play in high school, just club and was naturally really talented. From this video, in my opinion it looks like he started getting pissed off in the last set and started playing pretty crappy as a result. I don't think he's too terrible, but kid could use some work.
