This was a great interview. That last question about what usc is doing not to overlook minority students was great!

Does someone know if usc offers fully funded scholarships? Including room, meals, books or any of these? For international students

Hello, I was told dad, if you attended any of the information sessions, you could get a code to Wave or lower the cost of the common fee. Is that true? Thank you

hi !! I’m not a admission’s officer or anything, just another student, but I wanted to say that from what I’ve seen through other students attending USC and other colleges, extracurriculars during middle school aren’t that big of a deal unless you continue them throughout high school (Like a sport or something). I personally only have begun doing more extracurriculars my junior year, so starting now won’t hurt your chances of getting into colleges/universities like USC. As long as you show that you participated and made an impact in these extracurriculars or how these extracurriculars helped you grow as a person, you’ll be okay!!

4.37 W GPA, did not submit test scores, 2 APs, 9 Dual enrollments, 400+ hours of key club, top 7% of my class. I had 5 awards and 10 extracurriculars where I was an officer or leadership role for all of them. Do I have a chance to get in for EARLY ACTION?

If you're applying cs then no. colleges will be suspicous on the amount of de classes you took. admission officers can also tell that your ec's are not actually passion. They are just done so you can list that you were an officer in 10 clubs.

@@jamesjohnson6545 I was president of 3 of the clubs, and a member in the rest. I was in multiple internships and help higher positions in them. For Key Club, I held more than one position at a time (school level and district level). I got deferred.

If I have a GPA of 3.75, SAT of 1200, 5 AP classes, 3 years of Band, 100 hours of Key Club, and is top 35% of my graduation class. [Not my real score, but similar.] Do you think if I have a decent chance of being admitted to USC? Or any similar college? School’s stressing me out, thank you. 🙏

Unlikely but wherever you do get accepted, get good grades, straight As preferably and apply for USC transfer after 1st or 2nd year.
