This is something i had to search for, because so many people make some boring chords, i always found it easy to make beautiful chords in terms of notes being played, but the rhythmic part is where i struggled, cause no one talks about it. Glad you made this video, rhythmic chords will take your tracks 10 levels ahead and now I understand it better. Thank you so much.

This video has seriously been a game-changer for my music production skills! It's refreshing to see someone tackle the importance of chords head-on. Breaking away from those generic progressions is tough, but your insights make it feel so achievable. Props to you for shedding light on this topic that more folks should be chatting about. Massive thanks for sharing your wisdom! 😊

I came here from the ray Harmony hack music theory method. It's an excellent way to turn a two bar four chord progression into an eight bar segment with melody, baseline, and counterpoint. Sadly, it only really works for a pop and rock music. All my beats for sounding like Fleetwood Mac on the beach. I think that this video comes closer to bridging that Gap than any other that I've seen so far.

@@nimrodpascal8362 it did! Didn't get a whole lot from the apprenticeship, but their basic songwriting course, the cheapest one they offer, was a game changer! Gives you a blueprint to make a beat from absolute nothing. If you work at it there's a million ways to tweak the formula and come up with something fresh and melodic every time.
