Wouldn't it be cool if there really wasn't anything before that? That Pan was the missing link to all of them eating for real? I just noticed that after he imagined it, everyone else dug in right away. Before that, they were just mildly pretending and miming. But now it seems like it's real. I don't know. I think that'd be cool and add a little magic. (Also sad cause it means these boys haven't eaten in like...25 years haha)

@tothboy01
2 жыл бұрын
This scene is hilarious. I grew up with this movie as a kid. But as an adult I look at this scene differently. You see, I have a theory. This scene can be interpreted as a metaphor for hallucinogenic drugs. You see, the invisible food refers to hallucinations caused by drugs, because when you hallucinate, you are the only one who can see it and it is invisible to everybody else. As for the fact that they are eating food itself, that is a metaphor for "the munchies" usually associated with marijuana. Also, the food itself may be like a drug, because foods and drugs are very similar to each other. It's just a different way of looking at this scene. Hope you don't think my ideas are too crazy, I mean I see "drug innuendo" in movies all the time. If you are good at understanding metaphors, it's not that difficult to see.
