1 :In the UK there is no etiquette about taking off shoes in restaurants or bathrooms , only going into someone else house . 2: Chopsticks are a challenge to use I gave up and now are using training Chopsticks ( childrens ) but the temptation to use them as drum sticks is quite over powering lol. 3: It's a free for all on our trains ( that's if they are running due to strikes :(. I always book first class or the quite carriage, once I had to listen to a group of women talking about their boobs for 30 minuets they did not see me sat behind them 😂. 4: Standing in line-ups in the UK is our national sport , 9 hours plus for uk BabyMetal concerts I love it met so many great people from all over the world and was given gifts of sweets from Japanese fans . The more I watch Japanese youtubers the more I love and respect your culture and rules, a lot of respect is now missing from our country . I just hope Japan does not get to westernised in the future. Ok if you are married to a Japanese person or work in Japan or on holiday that's fine but we must respect your life-style and laws.

Lol the shoes pointing the same way is not the same in every other country. That's very particular.

I feel like even if I ask if it’s okay to take the last piece, Japanese people will be too polite and just say yes, even if they want it themselves 😂

It is also bad manners for two people to hold the same thing with chopsticks.

All these rules are not exclusive to Japan. All the same are observed in Taiwan and probably other South Asian countries. ❤

Thank you for this video. It was very interesting. 👍 The listed things are very similar to here in Sweden. They aren't banned though, more like frown upon especially from the older generation. Most youths these days aren't really seeing the shared space as shared. Automatic doors and squat toilets we don't have.

Alright, so no passing food from one person's chopsticks to another person's chopsticks. I remember seeing in Kohh's music video ( ひとつ ) they were handling cremated remains with the chopsticks-to-chopsticks passing method.
