00:00 Day 01: Initial Exploration and Navigation in the Beagle Channel
In Ushuaia, we found the "Plate of the End of the World", we began our trip with an exciting navigation through the Beagle Channel. Its waters and snow-covered mountains make up a magical landscape. Afterwards, we savored the delicacies of Bodegón Fueguino on Av. San Martin. At the Brasileiros tourism agency in Ushuaia, we bought tours and planned adventures. At Port Ushuaia, we witness passing through passenger control before boarding the Catamaran Canoero, which takes us through the Beagle Channel, revealing stunning landscapes. On the Bridges Islands and Lobos Island, we find history and nature, while the Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse reminds us of the importance of navigation. We closed the tour with the majestic whales and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe where we ended the day.
05:44 Day 02: Laguna Esmeralda and Chorizo Steak
We started our second day, exploring the trail to Laguna Esmeralda, immersed in wild nature, we saw a beaver tree and walked through the mud until we reached the lagoon, which is very beautiful, we took the drone up to have a view from above and were enchanted by such beauty. For the cold, we have snow clothes from Ushuaia Extremo Rental located on Avenida San Martin. After the tour we went to Moustacchio Restaurant, where we tried Patagonia beer and a tasty chorizo steak with fried papas.
10:44 Day 03: Exploring the City with City Tour and 4x4 Off-Road Tour
We embarked on the Ushuaia City Tour taken by a bus that came from London, a real Routemaster from the 50s, it took us to see the entire city of Ushuaia, such as the first school, the first church and other very interesting tourist attractions, all telling the story on the audio guide in English and Spanish, after this tour we passed through Plaza 25 de Mayo and had our passport stamped for free at the Tourism Office. At Letreiro Ushuaia, we capture unique moments where we also enjoy a beautiful view of the city, worthy of beautiful photos. At the Gelido Restaurant, we enjoyed hamburgers and panchos and then went to the place where we stayed at Hosteria Aonikenk, a place with great value for money that also has breakfast and top-notch service. In the late afternoon we left for a Exciting 4x4 off-road ride. At Park Austral, we immersed ourselves in the local culture by visiting the 3005 Moto Cafe Motorcycle Museum, where we tasted a gin made on site and then went out to explore the National Route N3 along an ancient route, the tour is full of beauties such as the Escondido and Fagnano lakes , finally we ended the night returning to our support point where we had dinner, had good wine and enjoyed live music.
17:18 Day 04: Discovering Tierra de Fuego National Park
We enter Tierra de Fogo National Park, witnessing its unique beauty. We enjoyed the historic Train at the End of the World that reconstructs and tells the history of the place. We visited the Correio do Fim do Mundo and arrived at Bahia Lapataia, the end of Route 3 where we took a photo at another famous sign. Wildlife presents us with the sight of the red fox. Lake Acigami impressed us with such beauty and upon returning to the city we went for lunch at the Max Pipi snack bar where we had fun with its decoration inspired by the Simpsons and again ate panchos and hamburgers. The night we spent at the Monte Olivia souvenir shop where we bought several things to give as gifts to family and friends, finally we went to taste the famous Centolla (King Crab) at the Volver Restaurant recommended by the Brasileiros agency in Ushuaia. We visited the Maritime Museum of the Presidio of Ushuaia from the outside, exploring the local history.
26:14 Day 05: Farewell to Ushuaia
The time has come to leave. We arrived at Ushuaia International Airport, remembering all the incredible adventures we had in this city. With a heart full of memories, we said goodbye to Ushuaia, grateful for every moment lived amid this unique landscape and headed to El Calafate and El Chaten.
And so our journey in Ushuaia comes to an end, a mix of nature, culture and discoveries that will stay with us forever.
