I love using functional stickers. I mainly use removable ones so I can use them over and over. That way I don’t feel guilty like I’m “ wasting them “ or saving my favorites for “ something special “. I also have a laminated half sheet with my morning self care routine and evening self care routine and it is icon stickers with squares ( basically a habits layout ) and I use removable dot stickers to show that I have completed each step every day. I get to enjoy the look without using new stickers every week. I also use erasable pens on my stickers so I can reuse them. It’s much less expensive for me to do that.

I use an app for daily routines but will still put emoji next to each item like a laundry basket, so helpful!

I like colorful boxes for color coding my monthly goals and action steps. It is a huge help with breaking down my goals into manageable steps and knowing exactly when I am doing them.

Thank you! I love this! I've been really wanting to start journaling and planning and always fall short due to my unrecognizable need for perfection or the fear of messing up. I think that comes from all the lack I experienced growing up. I don't know how to be okay with having something new and actually using it instead of being overly worried about preserving it! This is really sad and it sucks and definitely leaves me vulnerable to judgement and labeling. Which isn't good for my self esteem at times.. Definitely an unconcious way of thinking, living, and being from growing up. And I'm not even sure how to or if I'm capable of changing it completely opposed to my naturally wanting to just hide it, try my best to cover it up, and or feel shame for the way that I am and how people choose to judgement and criticize me felllll. I'm sorry, not sure what's going on with me lately.

🤗(hugs) There's nothing wrong with feeling that way. Your journal and planner is for you. It doesn't need to be perfect. I make mistakes all of the time in my journal and my planner. Some spreads look great and others don't. But I have fun creating and using my spreads. That's the best part. Enjoy the process! ❤
