This is a quick demo of using an intersection curve in SolidWorks to make a fancy helical/corkscrew groove on a roller on a mecanum wheel. It uses a surface loft from a helix to a line, then an intersection curve in a 3D sketch, and finally a sweep with a circular profile and some patterns.
