Thanks Gary but I use Notes for my shopping list and Numbers for my GANNT charts. IMHO Reminders needs a major upgrade to become a disruptor.

So, this comment may not be 100% appropriate for this video - but never the less. One complaint I have is that reminders on Ventura doesn't allow to take a picture from iPhone and add to the reminder (think shopping lists). Seems that Snagit (a paid alternative to Ventura screen capture) does support sharing of the captured screen to a new reminder in reminder folder of your choice. I could not replicate this type of sharing using the built in screen capture.

So you are working on your Mac in Reminders and you want to take a picture with your iPhone. You can just take the picture with your iPhone since Reminders are syncing with iCloud anyway. The option to add an image in Reminder (for Mac) from your iPhone's camera seem to be there, but I'm not sure why it isn't active.

Good day, Gary I was watching your KZitem video on Reminder Lists regarding templates. I don't know what version your Reminders App is but on mine, I don't have an option for creating and saving a template. My version of Reminders is Version 7.0 (2531.1). Help, Eric

7.0 is the current version. You should have templates. Maybe you are using something other than iCloud for storing your Reminders though?

@@macmost Thanks for your reply to my query regarding Reminders on my iMac. Apparently my iMac (2015-late) is running Monterey OS and therefore my Reminders app doesn’t have Templates for use. I will have to see if I can update my obviously old desktop to a more recent version. Keep up the fantastic videos as they are so useful. Eric

i don't understand why there are pasted my 2 email addresses under my list section on reminders. how can I remove them
@macmost

Not sure what you are seeing. Do you mean you have a list named using your email addresses? Or maybe you have multiple accounts that can use Reminders (like iCloud and Google).

Can I create a list of reminders as text with a certain syntax and then import them into Reminders?

Sorry, I can't think of a way to do that.

I often use Siri on my watch to add to my groceries list. If I ask Siri to add something to my groceries list will it know to add it to the template?
@macmost

It wouldn't add it to the template, no. It would add it to the active list with that name.
